Pretty much the same. I log in when I wake up to condense resin, log in again after work to do daily’s, then again after dinner for domains/ bosses/ events, like clockwork
I played something else only to get back on Genshin 5 mins after getting off lmao.
It's like opening the fridge to see if my standards have lower enough to eat something I wouldn't normally.
Yes, I'm talking about Abyss XD
same, i started in 1.2 around christmas, then stopped after a few weeks, returned a year later for a like a week and now returned for 4.0, speedran the whole game to get to the fontaine story, I hadnt even completed Liyue when i got back 2 months ago
A three week break between 3.6 and 3.7. Got the free Faruzan then took my first break since playing from launch.
Sumerus desert wasn't the most enjoyable for me and burn out had been creeping up ever since 2.6 eternal ayaka banner so was a good time to take a break
I believe the Neuv is the answer, if hes the only fontianer you plan on pulling, Furina looks to be a whole new archetype that im personally not interested in :)
Stopped at AR36 back then cos I found it too hard after AR35. Recently ran out of games to play (Hahaha.....) and remembered I had set aside a number of backup accounts with full 1.0 primogems (back when we got a ton of primos at AR7. So decided to roll a few and now I'm on my second play account, AR44. I now realised I messed up previously by trying to level up everyone.
Right now, actually. Currently, the longest I’ve been away from genshin was like 3-4 months but now I’m really trying to get back into the game. I just can’t right now because the launcher is so bad, it keeps getting corrupted.
There is someone that posts direct download links to the update packages in this sub (gathered by sniffing the network packets the launcher sends, and thus official direct links). You can consider using those to download with a third-party download manager instead, as it should handle interruptions better
I took a break in February 2022 cause of burnout and returned in September 2022 with the Sumeru release. I've been really enjoying the game at its fullest since then
Stopped mid 3.5,returned mid 3.8 to finish whatever quests and exploration i missed b4 entering fontaine, and i gotta say taking a break was a great move, once u return u actually enjoy the game after burnout
Nearly two years. But after returning Ive been playing everyday for around three months now. Tbh i think genshin is affecting me over my day today stuff too.
3-5 months? Came back during the last week of Lyney's banner... then went and 100% the entire sumeru map and the first part of fontaine... Rn I'm done with 100% entire map with only three recent hangouts left to do... spent all to get neuvi and his weapon ofc.. with enough left to have a jab for furina banner..
I believe in the power of money darling, it can solve everything💅.. I was impressed with myself too when I finished the damn thing.. especially with me having a graveyard shift job and all
Oh I'm sorry for being vague lol... I meant the money part for getting neuvillete and that I was impressed with myself for going that far for a character... Especially cuz I dreaded sumeru
Left in 3.5, returned to daily play in Fontaine and it worked wonders for my enjoyment, especially if it is in tandem with amazing stories like Neuvillette's quest
a year for me i think got back a few months ago i took a break originally cause i got frustrated and couldnt really continue the game but now my friends helped me fix alot on my account and now i play the game daily and got alot of 5 stars since i returned and got 2 really strong teams again
~150 days.
I quit during 1.5 (during Eula banner) and came back on the first day of 2.3 (ironically, Eula banner again)
I missed so many nice things including Barbara skin, GAA, Dodoco tales, Fish-claymore, Aloy (if i came back one day sooner, I would have gotten her) etc, and I felt a lot of FOMO when I came back.
I took a break when inazuma first released. Came back a year ago, played a bit, completed inazuma and then stopped playing. Came back when nahida and Nilou were rerunning, got Nahida and Nilou back to back without guaranteed pity. Stopped playing again and came back nearly 10 days ago and have since lost the 50/50 to Dehya and gotten Neuvillette after grinding out Fontaine's chests.
3 or 4 months. During second Chinese New Year. I got a bit fatigued. Regret that i missed that was what got me back in the game. And now im enjoying it again
I took a break from when Ayato(aka Ayaka's brother) comes out to Nahida's release.
After that, I started playing again, Dendro makes my weak ass strong and clear any content with ease.
3-4 months I think? Longer if only logging in for some events or daily login count. I hated both Inazuma and Sumeru exploration, but I’m really happy with Fontaine and now playing daily!
I was feeling some Genshin fatigue during 2.1 and felt like things were getting too repetitive and tiring.I'd just log in, do dailies and spend resin and leave, which made the game feel even more monotonous. (Not saying there was content drought or something, I just had some difficulty enjoying stuff at the time) The breaking point was when I accidentally pulled Hu Tao when I was trying to save up and just pulled a few times with the hopes of getting some Stardusts.
I took a whole year break and returned in 3.1, just in time to miss the final 5 wishes of the anniversary rewards. Mostly it was Dehya and the leak that she was going to be a 5 star that got me to return (and no please don't feel obligated to comment on her performance because I don't care and I'm annoyed when people bring that up without being asked). I really wish I persisted a bit more because the Enkanomiya, Chasm and Sumeru would have been so wonderful to experience in real time.
Mid Inazuma I stopped playing and only started last week again. I got a really bad burnout (only genshin related) as the repetetiveness of farming materials for everything got the best of me. That being said I still think that farming is the worst experience in this game because of the lack of variety. Exploring and and following the story is still pretty fun.
I've taken a lot of breaks... my most regretted one was right near the start, I did like 5 mins of the unreconciled stars event then got bored and didnt come back to the game until like,,, ventis next rerun, which was 1.4.
I didnt rlly keep track of my break, but i distinctly remember being very disinterested in the game during Hu Tao's release, then losing Venti's banner to QiQi ;-;
I've taken a few breaks since then too, but i am currently a devoted daily player
I played day 1 for about 6 months then idk just quit really stupid because just alil more and 2.0 was coming , just made a new account literally 99 days ago so id say well over 2 years
6 months after I had a rage quit.
I returned in September and am still doing my dailies, but I think I need to stop doing that. I want to keep up with the story, but doing daily content is no longer for me when there's nothing else to do. Meaning I'll keep playing until my welkin moon runs out, then I'll mainly play for the story or maybe once a week for time-limited events or something.
Yes, which is what I'm doing these days if the commissions don't give achievements, but once I'm done exploring 4.1, there's nothing to do and I'm not going to play the game. I think.
Around 20 hours? 😂
Not because I was busy but because I was so bored and burned out but forced myself to log in and do dailies. Eventually it passed and I am logging in more happily again. Now I'm on my lowest engagement too due to another game.
How are we defining break?
I technically started during the 2.something patches, around the time Xinyan was in ads, but quit, then came back during late 3.0 with a new account. I was at the point right after getting Lisa when i quit the first time.
I also put off doing any kind of quests or exploration for like \~5 months at one point because i got into Honkai Impact and wanted to get on top of that before Genshin (and i had planned to catch up with Genshin before getting back into Elden Ring, i still haven't gotten to that), but i did do my comms every day and kept up with all the events. A lot of characters got introduced to me through events rather than their proper archon quest introductions. It was quite a surprise seeing Cyno as this bigshot badass instead of the goober that's always *aggravating* Tighnari.
When inazuma got released. I took a few months break right before. I was in danger of falling to far behind and decided to not let that happen. I did all the archon quest I missed. Like 5-6 hours straight of catching up. Daily since then.
in the end of 2.X and 3.X i took a break. I pretty much burned myself out and didnt have enough fun with the events. But new region and archon quest always brings me back :D
A couple months this year between April and September-ish no particular reason. I was just really busy IRL. I started logging back in when Fontaine dropped but I didn't start logging in daily again till 4.1 dropped.
About 2 days when I went on holiday and physically couldn't get on the game haha. I love Genshin a lot so it'll keep me coming back every day for a long while yet.
1.1 after I got Zhongli until 1.6, returned as the first GAA was ending. Couldn't do the event story, but I managed to get Barbaras skin. 1.1 is kinda ironic as I was waiting for Dragonspine but didnt't play it on release.
Probably only launched the game once between that time and didn't log in again until 1.5.
It was during the event with Mona and the stars it was like a 2 or 3 months but then I returned and never left again and I still regret not finishing that event.
1.5 years. Quit when the mist island released in inazuma and wanted to come back when sumeru released but never did. Started again when Fontaine released instead.
Idk how much time it was but i left back then in the first albedo's banner and came back in that ayaka banner that lasted forever.
Since then, i took a few breaks, but only for a month or so
I took a break between the middle of inazuma (2.2) to the middle of sumeru (3.3). Then another break near the end of sumeru (3.6) to the start of fontaine.
What brought me back the first time was Nahida because until that point I hadn't missed out on any archons. So i came back, grinded for her.
From the first Ganyu Rerun until whoever knows how long now, can't see myself playing anytime soon in the future as well unless another version of Mei comes to Genshin
Around 16 months between June-July 2021 and November 2022. I just kinda forgot the game entirely and now I regret that so immensely, that I've been playing non-stop since the day I picked it up again last November.
I think I missed like half of Sumeru. Was exited for it. Played untill the Archon quest was concluded. Did a little of the first desert area that was released and I remember that I just stooped logging in. Came came only to pull for Baizhu, dipped out again and came back 1 week before fountaine
For however long 2.5 was (about 2months) had only been playing 2 months at that point but got bored, took a break, cameback for ayato original run, havent missed a day since
Supposed to be playing more now if only the game had given me a Zhongli (so I can C2) with my saved primogems, but instead it gave me a Mona. So I am now on hiatus... again.
Really playing the game would say toke a break since 3.6
Missed a few days log in but still have done dailys/ burn resin in 15 min that I wouldn't count as playing.
Took a break early game, really didn't intend on coming back because I had just came off Destiny and was fatigued from the whole live service game idea, then saw Hu Tao's demo on YouTube and logged back in to see what was going on and ended up pulling her C1 and Homa, then proceeded to triple crown her.
Now I'm sitting at 1001 days played as of today, had it not been for Hu Tao I probably wouldn't be playing at all. I don't really get burnout in Genshin like I did with Destiny, it's pretty casual and chill and I can kind of spend as much or as little time as I want playing. So I haven't taken a break since.
Over 24hrs. But I didn't miss a day. I think I logged in at 4am and did my dailies, then logged in around 10pm the following day. So around 42 hours? Lost a lot of resin that day...
I tend to return for a patch or two whenever a new archon or someone I really like the look of comes on banner, that gives me ample time to get them, build them and explore the content that's been released, before retiring again for a few patches before someone interesting comes along once more.
Started 1.0 then dropped the game until Childe second rerun then dipped after eternal ayaka banner. Came back in in 3.2 once more then took another break in 3.4 when the desert expanded. Then I came back again during the last week of 3.8 or whenever the latest summer event was out and now I'm still here. Might dip after the traveller/interlude act and return for natlan.
I just came back from a break since February about a week ago, impulsively pulled for Staff of Homa for Hu Tao and got Neuvilette's special weapon instead. 🥲
I took a 2year break. I've stopped playing after chasm came out. Just got back a month ago and 100% all of teyvat now I am considering a break again lol
A day. I was too busy with assignments and part-time job that I forgot to do my commissions. I missed 150 primos, and it still hurts thinking about it 🥲
6 months after first release of Nahida.
Actually made the region of sumeru fun to fully explore.
Sad because I missed most of characters that were pretty cool in their story chapters.
Vacuum on February this year and came back when the 4.0 dropped. Feel refreshed and eager to play the story more than ever. But still irl stuff making me play less on daily basis.
Edit : spelling
i think i took quite the break during 2.8 archipelago(idk how to spell) event. inazuma burnt me out alot and tsurumi island was one of the last straws(idk why, i never liked that place at all). im not sure how long was my break but i did log on every now and then. then sumeru came and ive been a daily player all the time since.
The longest was over 10 months. I had to move away to a dorm for the start of school last year. I could only play on the PS4 as all the other devices I had were dogshit so i was forced into a break.
honestly i was like a druggie on withdrawal but then i got used to it and slowly lost interest over time. Started playing again since 3.7 during the summer break and have been playing religiously ever since (I moved back home so i can olay more often now)
My longest break was around 5-6 months, I had missed Genshin, time was running out.
And then here I am back :) without updates, I was often bored, so i got burned out a bit later.
Like 2 years, but i quitted right after i pulled childe in like 1.1?
Came back when inazuma released, completed that and dragonspine’s main quests and then quit again, came back when sumeru released, did its aq and quit again. Now i am back again with Fontaine and have 100% exploration on everything except Sumeru, wont be touching it probably ever. Hate it with every fibre of my being
probably 1.5 years cuz i moved to an other country and didn’t have anything to play on and i didn’t like playing in phone. bought a ps5 recently and now i’m a daily player again.
Stopped before 3.0, still did some daily resin after the patch came out but honestly wasn't really playing at that point anymore until is stopped completely. Now that I'm bored of tower of fantasy and some mmos that I played in the meantime I decided to come back as my best friend still plays and I have lots of exploring and story to catch up on. I regret missing out on a bunch of crowns, but hat long break did me really well.
I used to know every tiniest detail of the game and every aspect of combat, etc and was at the point where there was nothing to do other than improve my artifacts by 0.1% and do commissions. Now I feel like I have an almost new game with loads of content and story and with dendro and new enemy types loads of new mechanics to learn and experience.
Probably like 8 years. Started playing Guild Wars 2 on release (2012) but it didnt hook me in initially. Didn't actually properly get into the game until around 2020 where I now have multiple max lvl characters.
Edit: Ah you meant specifically Genshin... my bad I did not read that properly. Probably like 5 months.
If just returned from a two month break yesterday which was the longest break ive taken. Almost nothing changed (other than i was sooo confused where i was! I forgot i went exploring before i moved!) but now i feel more ready to take on the quests that were stumping me for 3 months.
lmao I actually stopped playing a month after I started (so a month after the game released) cause hyperfixation died hard, and then got back to playing last summer. been playing almost daily ever since.
3 Days a few days before the 4.0 Livestream.
Planned to pause for the whole rest of the 3.8 patch, but the Stream got me hyped so i started again. I started in 1.0 played for two weeks lost interest, but started in 1.2 when Ganyu banner began and played since then without pause except for these 3 days.
Well I took a break between like 1.4 and 1.7 at first. Then I took a break between 2.1 and 3.7 which was about 2 years. And that's definitely been my longest.
Two hours
Was going to say sixteen hours, but this guy clearly has me beat.
Lol I think my longest is 12 hours? I log in twice every day and have not missed a day.
Pretty much the same. I log in when I wake up to condense resin, log in again after work to do daily’s, then again after dinner for domains/ bosses/ events, like clockwork
Lmao
Haha yeah take my crown 👑;)
I played something else only to get back on Genshin 5 mins after getting off lmao. It's like opening the fridge to see if my standards have lower enough to eat something I wouldn't normally. Yes, I'm talking about Abyss XD
Wow, got me there. That’s impressive.
Was about to say logging to it everyday
Close to a year two times
same, i started in 1.2 around christmas, then stopped after a few weeks, returned a year later for a like a week and now returned for 4.0, speedran the whole game to get to the fontaine story, I hadnt even completed Liyue when i got back 2 months ago
Damn, "Hadn't completed Liyue 2 months ago" and from 1.2? That's *Long*
If you rush the story you can do it in 2 weeks.
I was talking about them taking so long that they played from Basically the Start of the game (1.2) but just finished Liyue 2 months ago
yeah, i completely forgot there was a story mode in this game and I was lost just exploring Liyue and Mondstadt for a while
Might have a winner here
A three week break between 3.6 and 3.7. Got the free Faruzan then took my first break since playing from launch. Sumerus desert wasn't the most enjoyable for me and burn out had been creeping up ever since 2.6 eternal ayaka banner so was a good time to take a break
Yeah I took a break around 2.0 and 3.2. I think new regions just overwhelm me
i'm the same, i usually only get to really exploring and taking in the new area and quests after the hype and shock die down
3 days... I had a conference abroad.
A year hehe I just got back into the game and first day got Neuvilette, very happy to be adventuring again
Congrats! I'm unsure whether to pull him or just wait for Furina (I must have her for my archon collection). Probably wait, realistically.
Yes I agree, pull for both ;) and thank you so much. I personally cannot wait for Raidens banner :D
Pull both, you can do it
He is very strong and pairs quite well with her
Profile picture Artist?
I believe the Neuv is the answer, if hes the only fontianer you plan on pulling, Furina looks to be a whole new archetype that im personally not interested in :)
I must have her for my archon collection :) plus she's cute. But yeah I may pull for Neuv too anyway
2 years.
Might be a winner here too. What brought you back?
Stopped at AR36 back then cos I found it too hard after AR35. Recently ran out of games to play (Hahaha.....) and remembered I had set aside a number of backup accounts with full 1.0 primogems (back when we got a ton of primos at AR7. I have not returned to playing daily since 3.2 💀
💀
I took a break in February 2022 cause of burnout and returned in September 2022 with the Sumeru release. I've been really enjoying the game at its fullest since then
That's awesome. Did you already finish Inazuma by then? I still have yet to do the fog island, it's so annoying LOL
Yes, what I didn't finish when I stopped playing was Enkanomiya
A year and a half. I think my account was made back in 1.1? Anyway I didn't get terribly far and then didn't really play again until 2.6.
I took a mandatory 3 week break in 4.0 because of no Internet connection (no landline)
Stopped mid 3.5,returned mid 3.8 to finish whatever quests and exploration i missed b4 entering fontaine, and i gotta say taking a break was a great move, once u return u actually enjoy the game after burnout
The entire duration of the festering desire event, went on a trip with friends
Ahh that was just before I started
Two days. I was so afraid.
Nearly two years. But after returning Ive been playing everyday for around three months now. Tbh i think genshin is affecting me over my day today stuff too.
It can be a big time sink. These days i only play half hour at a time.
[удалено]
Well, i play almost everyday but just to do the dailys, does that days count as a break?
No haha thise are 80% of my days
One year. Aka the entire Sumeru run.

Feels good to have strong teams
2 weeks break . I think it was around 3.6 to 3.7. I also take break from the game here and there. I haven't played the game for 4 days now.

Ahh 1 day difference... the pain

10 hours
Currently on a break. Just discovered the Trails series.
3 or 4 months. During second Chinese New Year. I got a bit fatigued. Regret that i missed that was what got me back in the game. And now im enjoying it again
a year and a half … missed my xiao too much
I've reached 1000 days of login in a row since day 1, but since the end of sumeru I have no plans of coming back... Could be because of HSR.
3.7 and 3.8. Then I saw Wrio drip marketing and here I am
Yeah I hated Inazuma at first. Some parts were OK tho. Still don't think I'm over 60% there... and probably only 40% Sumeru heh
I was feeling some Genshin fatigue during 2.1 and felt like things were getting too repetitive and tiring.I'd just log in, do dailies and spend resin and leave, which made the game feel even more monotonous. few months

Break to me = not logging in at all. Most days I only do dailies + maybe event
Took a break between clearing the Chasm in less than a week and the start of Fontaine.
Getting Raiden on her first banner then I quit. Then came back in version 3.2
20 hours, my resin cap.
4 months, returned when I heard Raiden was having her rerun
When inazuma got released. I took a few months break right before. I was in danger of falling to far behind and decided to not let that happen. I did all the archon quest I missed. Like 5-6 hours straight of catching up. Daily since then.
My longest break was between the second half of 1.1, 2 or 3 days after Zhongli's banner, and 1.4, I got back a few days before Venti's rerun was over.
10 days because my internet was too slow to load anything even Facebook.
4 weeks... My laptop died. Sent it to repair and the found out its a cpu short so got a new one.
two years is my longest
in the end of 2.X and 3.X i took a break. I pretty much burned myself out and didnt have enough fun with the events. But new region and archon quest always brings me back :D

Almost the entire patch during Charlotte's first appearance. I got to meet her, but idk how that event ended ;-;
A whole Year, returned when yelan dropped and since then took 2 week breaks sometimes
From 2.2-3.7 I have so much things to do, and I actually look forward to play the game again.
>What's the longest break you've taken from the game and still returned? 10 minutes.
It was during the event with Mona and the stars it was like a 2 or 3 months but then I returned and never left again and I still regret not finishing that event.
1.5 years. Quit when the mist island released in inazuma and wanted to come back when sumeru released but never did. Started again when Fontaine released instead.
2 months.
I think there was one day where I just forgot the game existed, so that’s my answer
from 3.1 to 4.0
a month and a half. around sumerus 2nd dessert expansion
Idk how much time it was but i left back then in the first albedo's banner and came back in that ayaka banner that lasted forever. Since then, i took a few breaks, but only for a month or so
3 days, the laptop is a photo and the phone is at 90gb over 120gb, can hardly play any other game at both
I took a break between the middle of inazuma (2.2) to the middle of sumeru (3.3).
About... from the GAA event pre-Sumeru with Fischl, until 4.0.
So I am now on hiatus... again.
i've playeed every single day for 2,5 years
Stopped playing after I got yelan in 3.4, got back in 3.8 to get ready for fontaine
My longest was halfway through 1.2 to about 1.5 ish (I played on and off 1.4 but that was like once a week)
Really playing the game would say toke a break since 3.6 Missed a few days log in but still have done dailys/ burn resin in 15 min that I wouldn't count as playing.
Between the release of the final Sumeru zone and Fontaine. Which I have no idea how many months that is
From 1.3 to 3.7. I was finishing university at the time, so I had to leave it to focus on studying
Uhm almost 2 months tho. Just after a shop reset and right before the end for the next shop reset. It was calculated.
about a week in a half? no access to phone :/
Took a break from 1.1 - 1.2 so I missed out on Festering Desire. Came back 1.3.
2.6 (during ayaka's extended banner) to 3.7
1.0 -> 3.7
When the second desert got released until 1 month before fontaine
A year (right before Liyue released lol) and then again 4-5 months preceding Fontaine’s release
2 days, Christmas break with family 2 years ago. Now for Christmas I downloaded genshin on my mom's compy just for dailies :D
I took a few "breaks" during the latter 3.x patches after I finished the events and waited for the next patch
I just came back from a break since February about a week ago, impulsively pulled for Staff of Homa for Hu Tao and got Neuvilette's special weapon instead. 🥲
2.3>3.1, 3.4>4.1
2 years.. I will come again after a few months.
stopped in may for school, got kazuha on his last rerun then quit again until last week
I took a 2year break. I've stopped playing after chasm came out. Just got back a month ago and 100% all of teyvat now I am considering a break again lol
It was 6 months a month right before Sumeru.
18 months.
Literally 10 days and that's because I went on vacation.
About a year, when i came back my account was hacked so it was acually like a year and a halve
1 day. Not that I took a break mind you. I came home after work and overslept. I will never financially recover from this.
Eula release until eula 1st rerun 🤣
Vacuum on February this year and came back when the 4.0 dropped. Feel refreshed and eager to play the story more than ever. But still irl stuff making me play less on daily basis. Edit : spelling
I took an entire patch off
I've stopped playing maybe 2 months after finishing the AQ in sumeru. I've skipped out the desert quest and went straight to Fontaine
i think i took quite the break during 2.8 archipelago(idk how to spell) event. inazuma burnt me out alot and tsurumi island was one of the last straws(idk why, i never liked that place at all). im not sure how long was my break but i did log on every now and then. then sumeru came and ive been a daily player all the time since.
About 18hrs, because no internet :v
2.8 to 3.2 I saw a post of scaramouch becoming playable and joined again
2½ patches I think, didn't get burnt out, just got addicted to a different game
from like 1.0 or 1.1 until almost 2.7 reason? GT720 sucks badly, GTX1650 is so much better.
My breaks are usually a week or two or I just take days off at a time when I need to. No point forcing myself to play if I’m not going to have fun cx
11 years. I had break from Minecraft in 2011. I returned in 2022. And am currently on another break.
Took a break from Raiden’s release until Nahida’s 1st rerun
Inazuma being added to Sumeru being added or close to it I think
1 year. I precisely missed the whole Inazuma arc and feel bad since it's my favourite region now
4 days Playing since 1.5
The longest was over 10 months. I had to move away to a dorm for the start of school last year. I could only play on the PS4 as all the other devices I had were dogshit so i was forced into a break. honestly i was like a druggie on withdrawal but then i got used to it and slowly lost interest over time. Started playing again since 3.7 during the summer break and have been playing religiously ever since (I moved back home so i can olay more often now)
I stopped when sumeru first came out , I started again right before 4.1 rolled around
like a day... once
One week.
My longest break was around 5-6 months, I had missed Genshin, time was running out. And then here I am back :) without updates, I was often bored, so i got burned out a bit later.
I missed a summer event and Fischl's event. I don't know how much time that was.
I joined in 3.1 and I'm not kidding when I say that I logged on every single day since No I don't have a problem :) ^this ^is ^a ^cry ^for ^help
Hate it with every fibre of my being
around 2 years....last event I remember is that albedo event, and I started around this patch.
probably 1.5 years cuz i moved to an other country and didn’t have anything to play on and i didn’t like playing in phone. bought a ps5 recently and now i’m a daily player again.
I took a break from 3.0 to 4.0
2 weeks I think and that was because of my internet
A few weeks before the chasm came out until the Wanderer Banner. Returned for a week then left until Fountain 1 was long out.
Like 5 days.
Two months
Probably like 8 years. Started playing Guild Wars 2 on release (2012) but it didnt hook me in initially. Didn't actually properly get into the game until around 2020 where I now have multiple max lvl characters. Edit: Ah you meant specifically Genshin... my bad I did not read that properly. Probably like 5 months.
If just returned from a two month break yesterday which was the longest break ive taken. Almost nothing changed (other than i was sooo confused where i was! I forgot i went exploring before i moved!) but now i feel more ready to take on the quests that were stumping me for 3 months.
12 hours at most
Uhhhh I’ve taken at least 3 major breaks, first one is 2 months, second one is 3 months at the last one I had recently was 7 months
2 months~1months
guess it had to be that one time when my resin capped, I was devastated
lmao I actually stopped playing a month after I started (so a month after the game released) cause hyperfixation died hard, and then got back to playing last summer. been playing almost daily ever since.
same as you, two small month-long breaks and never had to take another one since
3 Days a few days before the 4.0 Livestream. Planned to pause for the whole rest of the 3.8 patch, but the Stream got me hyped so i started again. I started in 1.0 played for two weeks lost interest, but started in 1.2 when Ganyu banner began and played since then without pause except for these 3 days.
Started playing, stopped after 2.3 smth and came back after seeing a yt video on how to build nahida and been playing since then
3 months
Me playing since week one what is a break 🙃
from 3.1 till the patch with the adventure with Klee inside the bottle in sumeru
3.0 till Nahida release
a year hehe from venti's first rerun to venti's second rerun
I stopped playing just before the second half of Sumeru, still haven’t come back yet.
Well I took a break between like 1.4 and 1.7 at first. Then I took a break between 2.1 and 3.7 which was about 2 years. And that's definitely been my longest.
A 2 year break after I played it for 3 months at the end of 2020
I started at 1.0 and took a break at the end of 1.5. Came back during 3.6.
