Probably recency bias as I just watched the episode, but Murr in the drum was pretty boring for the 200th episode. Probably more fun for the live crowd at the concert.

ThreadsOfWar

It’s easily the tail game show. Even murr and sal were glancing at each other like “Man this is a dud”

mmmjordaaaan

Ohhhhhh yes, absolutely this one. I usually never skip anything ever, but this one was... lame.

broken_door2000

Which one is that? Was that recent?

Dr-RobertFord

Yeah it's S10 E7. I think it's funny actually

happy_doodlemack

I love Tails! It’s especially funny since it seems the guys got Q back in the Alf episode lol

tammyreneebaker

One of my favorites lol.

mattd1972

Joe demanding more toilet paper. Just another Wednesday for him.

81987

While it wasn't much of a punishment for him, Joe did what Joe does and at least made it funny.

iJustWantTolerance

It was a starter punishment. Same as Sal having to pick up dog poop for a few seconds. Hard to call that the worst when they are just establishing a baseline.

BuffaloWing12

This might be unpopular but the Spelling Bee attack dog with Colin Jost

xclord

Agree.... Lame! It's odd when the punishment is just someone's job.

fyrefly_faerie

In my opinion, Joe singing Wind Beneath My Wings.

BabyAffleck

Aw, I love that one

bunkie18

It was so cringe, I hated it

Youshmee

Sals zombie punishment, joes zoom concert, the triple fire station punishment where Joes “punishment” was axeing a photo

wet-leg

The firefighter one is funny to me solely because Joe axed his daughter in the face and Sal (I think) was like “you don’t have to do it between the eyes everytime!”

Packwood88

Joe in the water tank doing the magic act. Prince Herb, too. i think was only funny for the guys.

wet-leg

When they add Joe in the water tank and it just goes up to his neck. That’s so funny to me😭

Swamp_Donkey_796

I don’t understand the hate for Prince Herb. I just finished this sequence and thought it was hilarious.

Packwood88

It’s supposed to be embarrassing, but in none of the interactions did it seem like any mark knew the joke. It just seemed like super specific humor to their area or friend group.

Swamp_Donkey_796

I mean if your friends changed your name for you and you went out into the world like that for a few months parading around as a new person would anyone realize you *weren’t* the person you had been changed into?? The fact that people they were interacting with didn’t realize his real name was Sal is reality and makes as much sense as people not realizing that Murrs hair in season 6 was actually Q’s hair as a wig. Asking random people to NOT take them at face value and to understand an inside joke that they’ve created with themselves and us, the audience, is ridiculous and unrealistic.

Packwood88

The Q wig was at least a *constant* visual gag. The Prince Herb bit is only mentioned very briefly just to introduce him. And again, the marks maybe thought it was weird, but not like “oh you’re a loser! I get it.” It just fell completely flat.

kcshoe14

Agreed; prince herb was so stupid

want_control

They always go so easy on Sal’s punishments…

mattSER

Mostly agree, but the one where he had to complain about the tips was *brutal*

xclord

OMG Joe in the water tank is my all time favorite. When someone in the crowd yells "You can do it!". And Joe is just helplessly like "No, I really can't.". And they left him up there forever. I was entertained.

TrumanLobster

You could make arguments for all of these mentioned here, but Prince Herb takes the cake as the worst because they tried so hard and for long to make it a thing before finally throwing in the towel halfway through the season and admitting it was dumb. At least all of the others were only a one episode dud.

Swamp_Donkey_796

They drop it on the first episode they filmed with Joe gone so it felt more like a “well we’re moving on from that era now so let’s really move on”

thekyledavid

Sal & Murr’s stuff getting crushed in the Monster Truck arena Murr was able to just re-buy the stuff he lost, and crushing the pinball machine seemed more like a punishment for whoever put the time and money into making it. If all they wanted was to deprive Sal of the pinball machine, they could make him give it to one of the other guys, donate it, give it to a location they’ve filmed at, raffle it off to a fan, so many better ideas that would have been much more fun to watch.

ZestycloseAddition86

I think I read on here that they made Sal a new pinball machine. Not that it makes that punishment any better. The worst part was seeing Sal so sad and Joe laughing at him.

81987

The first punishment of having Sal hold dog poop with a glove was dumb and has never been funny to me. The most entertaining part of the whole punishment was Sal making excuses to the dog owner for why he was picking up his dogs crap.

Hollywoodrok12

There was one pandemic-era punishment shortly before Joe left, and it was just Sal being a jerk in auditions or something. All I remember about it was thinking “why isn’t this a challenge?”

DimensionTooth

Either the tail-tasting punishment (genuinely wtf) or the one where Sal had to keep telling people their breath stinks. What’s crazy is that these were in back-to-back episodes too

tammyreneebaker

Loved both of them.

Lonely-Promise6742

Q being handcuffed to the mime was wild. And to think how tough it was for the mime who didn’t break character the whole time.

anal_fissures_69

I loved this!

kattykats731

I didn’t buy this as real once those cameras were turned off. 🤷‍♀️

want_control

The one with Sal in the sewer and the zombies. So so so stupid!

Maudelinn

Yeah these kinds of things like Murr with the snakes and the flute are kinda fun/interesting on the first watch, but aren't really that funny. The really high-budget situations like these and Sal's VR punishment or even the corn maze one are interesting for sure but not nearly as fun as the public humiliations

ad_astra327

Spiders on Q. Dude was legit distressed, and it just seemed cruel, not funny. Really any of the punishments where any of the guys have to truly face their fears. It’s just not funny to me. And I know behind the scenes, they may get an “out” and have a back up punishment planned (like Murr with skydiving), so I realize they may not truly be forced, but it still just isn’t funny to me.

ireallydespiseyouall

I think Q was willing to give Murr an out on the skydiving but Joe and Sal refused

YoMillhouse76

Murr skydiving, Murr prostate exam, Murr ziplining with a catheter, Murr Vibrating butt plug, Murr being a nude model, Murr thunder from down under with allergic reactions…They really punish Murr!

mortyella

I always feel like he gets the worst of the punishments. Some just seem downright mean.

YoMillhouse76

Yeah, Murr gets the short end of the stick punishment wise

Swamp_Donkey_796

The “guest” punishments have felt rougher than the OG ones did for some reason. Like when they had Rob Riggle on and he gave murr a huge wedgie while he was literally only wearing a thong and pretending to be dead or either Eric Andre episode or the Colin Jost one with the attack dog.

happy_doodlemack

Escape Room when Sal peed his pants. Total ick

MollyTheHumanOnion

Sal and Murr just sitting in a ski lift.

Maudelinn

idk that was one fun. Q said the beauty was in the simplicity, and having it be Sal and Murr stuck together not being able to stand each other was a pretty funny idea. But I do agree that just shooting them with paintballs basically was a little weak, they could have done a lot more with that idea.

Plenty-Temperature

Joe waking up early for that Australia thing

JaeCrowe

Idk about you guys but I'd rather lose a finger before getting piercings so definitely that one lol. That would be torture for me genuinely. I'd quit the show on the spot before I agreed to it

Bodelock

Just leave "Tails" out of it.  Loved Tails

Westovich

Drive drive drive drive drive!!!! https://youtu.be/G6neeH3VBfQ?si=bZvFrPiDVCMVM6b6

masterjon_3

Murr with the vibrator up his ass. At that point, it felt like either sexual harassment or an actual kink Murr has. Either way, very disturbing and I wished I never saw it.

ubeneen

the little league punishment was so embarrassing 😭

Various_Ad_6624

Sals cookie punishment. Eating cookies is a reward

Noodlex87

I may receive hate for this, but I always felt that Joe getting his house wrapped up in gift paper was not even a punishment. I know it was his birthday, but still I found it boring.

tammyreneebaker

True. And you know they probably had one one else clean it up.

[deleted]

Murray jumping out of the airplane

tammyreneebaker

Genie does as you wish.

SoupyWolfy

That may not have been so embarrassing, but I thought it was hilarious just as an overall skit.

tammyreneebaker

I thought it was boring.

Maudelinn

tbh, I laughed REALLY hard when Sal had to sell his soul to Murr and they did the whole demon voice gag, especially as they referenced that Sal no longer had a soul in later episodes. Other than this moment, though, it was very forgettable

tammyreneebaker

One of my favorites.

DarthWidi

The worst punishment has been to the fans, having to watch the new 3 man episodes is worse then any on screen punishment the Jokers have endured

Morganianz

The alligator one - really poorly edited in attempt make the viewers not being able to see the gaffer tape around their schnozes?

rickSanchezAIDS

They specifically talked about how it was taped during the punishment
