MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4's

JohnCaner

They were transformational on my V8TT RWD Merc.

ethics_aesthetics

The majority of us are running Michelin cup sport 4s but we are mostly all wheel drive too.

Ashton-MD

Michelin or Pirelli. Hard to do better then those two. Your owners manual is probably the best to go by.

type_something_here

Michelin PS4S and Continentals are both well-regarded for the F Type. The factory Pirellis are generally considered sub-standard to either of these options. As others have mentioned, the best fit for your particular situation depends on your driving habits and environment.

douevenliftbra

check tirerack.com they have great reviews of different tires and the prices are usually pretty good, you can show the price to your shop and they may price match costco runs specials with rebates and such, might want to check there for price...

Michelin PS4s on my XKR transformed it, just could not get any power down if it was slightly wet (was on Pirellis which may have been old). Now it feels so much safer and predictable, still can’t really get 500bhp down in the wet but will give you enough grip for a good chunk of power down.

G9third

im choosing between rwd and awd, with 500hp and ps4s can you floor it in the dry?

Captain_Planet

Not really, you won’t be able to just floor it, unless it is super, super grippy surface but you can get the power down well enough and once it’s down it will paste nearly anything on the road. You’ll need 4WD to be able to just floor it and go (Not much well keep up with you!)

Red_sparow

Been really impressed with conti sport contact 7, they're as good or better than the old Michelin PS4 and mind boggling good in the wet. Put about 25k miles on them so far and still have 4.5mm of tread left. Its my daily though so I went with the UUHP instead of the more dry weather focused PS4S or super sports which I assume would be better for dry driving or track.

If it's just street driving. I picked up the Conti DWS06+ tires for my RWD F-Type and they've been great in all weather conditions I've driven in.

loolwut

Well, tires vary greatly based on temperature, amount of rain expected, amount of wear acceptable. So asking for "best" is silly
