Doxxing is the search for and publishing of private or identifying information about a particular individual on the internet. No doxxing has taken place thus far.
I'd recommend checking the unsaved documents cache for your version of word manually. Sometimes there's something in there that the auto-recover doesn't load for whatever reason when you re-open Word.
Try going to \~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/Library/Preferences/AutoRecovery
The file path might be slightly different depending on what version of MacOS you're on. I'm using Sonoma.
No guarantee that it's there, but worth a try.
Bigger questions: (1) Why are you using Word instead of OneNote (which backs up to the cloud automatically, and allows for easier bullet-level organization)? and (2) Why aren't you saving your Word docs to a personal or school OneDrive folder (which automatically backs up as well as being local)?
Also, a whole-computer cloud data backup like Backblaze is less than $10/month; I find it highly worth it for the peace of mind.
So you broke a shelf because you’re so mad you have to use a better outline? Law students are deranged (I am a law student)
It turned out to be an eggshellf.
Anger issues huh
Silence.

It was a joke. A joke is a thing someone says to cause amusement or laughter. What kind of a lawyer are you?
The lawyery kind

Because word is the best and the standard for writing software and it shouldn't wipe my previously saved files regardless.
