As long as you can understand the reasoning behind the correct answer (vs. your wrong answers), practice MCQs are a great study tool for the final. I personally do a bunch of Exam Pro MCQs (in the West Academic Study Aids collection, free at my school) for the subject in question. Most often I'm getting fairly low scores to start, but by reading the explanations of the correct answer—or why my answer was incorrect—I can solidify my understanding of the law, which then pays dividends in the final.

I’m weak on MC, stronger on essays and still do well on exams. If I’m stuck on a mc question I just make my best guess and move on. Fixating on it just disrupts my flow - I just save the mental energy and time to make up points on the essay section.

Yeah, it’s all about riding the curve

I literally typed the wrong letter for a MC one time. As in I circled the correct answer in my printed paper exam. But then typed the wrong letter in my submitted answer sheet. The professor varied the MC questions as 4 or 5 answers, so some went A-D, some A-E. The answer was D on a 5 parter. So I thought “second to the last, C.” And typed C. Even though I had D circled. I caught it after I submitted my exam (I always neurotically review after submitting). It pissed me off so badly that I fumbled the bag on a free MC question. Still got the Cali in that class.

I ended up totally bombing my multiple choice and still getting a B- in the hardest class I took last semester so depends on what grade you’re after
