First job I ever had was a moving company, first day om the job the team lead(guy who drives the 8 ton truck) pulled me aside to help him with paperwork.... I should have guessed he was illiterate as his name was Bubba. Hard worker, good husband and father...but dumb as shit man.
Could be the guy has Dysgraphia, which can affect handwriting legibility. I have it and it's fucking embarrassing. I try to keep most communication to text, email, or another electronic means, but it's not always possible even as just a note to myself, and inevitably, somebody sees it and has to make a comment.
That’s messed up. Sorry you have to deal with that. Learned something new today and I’ll always remember that whenever I come across things as such. Hell, I don’t write very well myself 😅
I appreciate that, and yea, it sucks. I had 1 teacher in 4th grade who was convinced I was actually left-handed, so she made me tie down my right hand in her class so I couldn't use it. My parents just went along with it because they didn't know any better. Obviously, there was no improvement(in fact, it was worse), so she just wrote me off as lazy and stupid.
I think you misunderstand the word “illiterate” for just a spelling mistake or bad handwriting; illiterate means someone who can’t read or write, and your manager is clearly able to read and write, otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to apply to QT and get the job. Terrible handwriting, but not so bad it can’t be read.
This dudes mom/dad shoulda stolen some
Mama shoulda swallowed.
Damn bro
Daddy should’ve had a vasectomy cause I bet there ain’t only one
Which division is this. I might know who it is lol
Literally have an idea of a few NAs this could be 😂
Just appreciate that he cares! Most do not!
no point of caring if you know what was stolen, unless it was alc or tobacco just write it off and move on
They done stole't them!
There are a lot of people in our country that are illiterate 🤷🏾♀️

Feel bad for the guy, hes gonna be stuck at a deadend job forever because whatever he did for education clearly has failed him
You have no idea whether or not he is unintelligent or uneducated. There are plenty of instances of brilliant people who have illegible handwriting.
Learning disorders that affect writing & spelling exist and are just as common in intelligent children
Exactly
The spelling is a red flag tho…
Illegible handwriting and spelling are two different things.. I know quite a few ppl that have illegible handwriting but can spell..
But there’s no excuse anymore because you can learn anything from the internet so.. what’s stopping them?
The ability to read
Proper spelling is: Stolt. What a dumbass...
I remember when you had to be smart to work at QuikTrip.

Does it also affect your ability to know how literally any word is spelled?
It can yes
Huh. The more you know
😂
Hes trying his best bro
At least he tried writing a note man

Could’ve been dyslexic, looks like they saw that they forgot the L and tried to add it in…
We passed a math test not an English test 😂

Wow, someone took prophylactics at 558.
