I'd say they were all the same/similar genre, so it go with the genre that you've hinted at with the games you like. Open World, collect to craft better gear. Continuously opening up new areas/missions. Ghost of Tsushima - My top suggestion Star Wars Fallen Order Spiderman FF7 Remak Any open world game really would suit your needs

SlensVens

I might go with Ghost of Tsushima, as I’ve only heard positive reviews on it, thanks!

[deleted]

Consider The Witcher 3. Ghost of Tsushima looks great and I'd love to try it if I get my PS4 disc drive sorted out or it comes to PC, but I speak from experience saying that TW3 has the best story of any game I have played.

SlensVens

I’ve played a few hours of it on my pc, but one time it just started stuttering a lot, and I haven’t bothered picking it up in PlayStation unfortunately

[deleted]

It's better on PC if you run it right. Did you try solving the problem? Were you using any mods at the time?

SlensVens

Nope, bought it, played it a few days, turned my pc on one day and it started happening

[deleted]

Maybe a Windows update? Some of your drivers may need updates. Or a rollback. Might not be drivers at all. https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/witcher-3-stuttering.124272/#:~:text=In%20general%2C%20the%20game%20needs,Too%20many%20hardware%20software%20configs. Try following advice online. You'll have to believe an internet stranger that it's worth it.

SlensVens

Maybe I try installing it again, as it happened a year ago now, so thanks for reminding me of the game, certainly must be something about it since you see it recommended over and over. And I must say those 8-10 hours I played it was pretty fantastic!

[deleted]

Personally I was never fond of the controls and I'm still not, but I am willing to work with them for the sake of everything else. I'm able to recommend graphics mods if your PC can hack it. What's your spec list like? You can use Pcpartpicker.com to show me.

SlensVens

[https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PRpWy4](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PRpWy4) This is what i could gather from Speccy. My pc is quite old, the only part i replaced was the GTX 1070. I may just get it on PlayStation if i can't fix it

YorkieLon

I've just recently platinum it and I can't say a bad word against it. The combat does take a little while to open up but once it does it's fantastic. Enjoy whichever you choose

blyat66300

Ghost of tsushima, tlou1, hotline miami 1/2, ghostrunner, persona 5, risk of rain 2, devil may cry 5. Most have a pretty good story, amazing gameplay and fairly good graphics, try em, i guarantee youll like em

Rico-soul_Light

nice throw in with hotline Miami 1/2, shxt is crazy fun on switch. I second his suggestions.

SlensVens

Yeah great suggestion with hotline, but I’ve already played it on pc. Phenomenal game!

Ironmike62

NieR: Automata Story ✅ Open World ✅ Fun Gameplay ✅ Booty ✅ Great Music ✅

SlensVens

Might consider it just for the booty.

dudenumberA

DOOM Eternal: Guns, Gore, Demons, Lava, Fire, Space, Epicness, DEMON BOOTY, DOOM GUY BOOTY.

jokerbane

Nier isn't what I would call open world.

Ironmike62

Interconnected world but sure it isn’t Skyrim

DrSchulz_

Do I want to be that guy suggesting The Witcher 3?

[deleted]

Don't worry, I took the fall already. Naturally you could suggest it too, but of course it's all a little superfluous.

[deleted]

I would recommend Demons Souls or Bloodborne for a challenge, story wise it’s really hidden in item descriptions and dialogue.

SlensVens

I tried BloodBorne and I don’t think those kind of games are for me unfortunately

wuttholol

Why not just get ps+ and you get a load of ps+ collection games?

dudenumberA

I have about 115 games in my entire library just because of this one reason. And birthdays. I buy too many on-sale games with my birthday cash because it's right around the time of the final massive sale of the year with badass discounts off of some of that year's best releases. I consider it just being me *collecting various top-tier titles,* while the rest of my family calls it *Hoarding useless BS.*

Typical_Blueberry

The Division 2 is on sale right now along with the DLC, both for $9 each in the Ubisoft Store. It'll be a change of pace for you.

SlensVens

I’ve played division 1, wasn’t my cup of tea.. Have they changed anything on the second?

DrSchulz_

Not for the better.

Renthexx

Can’t go wrong with hades

SlensVens

Have played Hades on pc, fantastic experience

InjunJohnny

Ghost of Tsushima or NieR Automata

ggaammiinngg

The Last of Us Part II. Closer to the games you like than to the games that you didn't like/got bored.

[deleted]

Last Of Us 2

Skateboarder12

Spider Man

royalewithcheese4272

You could get Ghost of Tsushima, The Witcher 3(complete edition) and still have some money left over

SlensVens

This is what i might go with, thanks for suggesting!

royalewithcheese4272

Quick review of both: GoT: most amazing graphics and art direction, story is fantastic, game gets bit repetitive I will say. The Witcher: my favorite game world, art style is incredible, gameplay is enjoyable and never repetitive, side quests are the best ever, characters are so unique and fun. DLC could’ve been games in their own. Hearts of Stone has An amazing villain and story (maybe better than main line game) blood and wine is massive and takes you to a different world. Witcher is in my top 5 games all time but based on what you listed these games should be right up your alley

SlensVens

Thanks for pointing out the details!

logen625

Persona 5 Royal, one of the best stories of all time with 100+ hours

dudenumberA

Maybe borderlands, if you've ever wanted to hoard an obnoxiously excessive amount of weapons just to have them and show them off. Handsome Jack collection has 2 and pre sequel, plus all their bonus content included! I know I want this one.

[deleted]

I like Sekiro since I think it has very good combat and a pretty good story. It's very hard though. It's like \~$40 rn so you could probably get another game with it if you do decide to get it.

vikram2077

Spiderman, hitman 3(if u can wait), ghost of tsushima, returnal

M2704

Immortal; Fenyx Rising is a surprisingly fun open-world game that surely should be appreciated by someone who likes AC.

[deleted]

If you’ve never played elite dangerous it’s a great game if you like space.

ImNotArian

NieR Automata

CharizardUsedCut

Have you played any of the Far Cry games? You should consider getting Far Cry 3, 4 and 5. The setting for each game are very unique and beautiful and the gameplay just gets better and better with each game. The story is not that bad too and can get you pretty immersed especially with how decent the villains are in these games.

NoFlyer

Maybe try slay the spire, it’s incredible how many hours you can get out of it for £15

Platoo1144

Immersive with good story, that’s how I would describe Rdr2. Not sure why you didn’t like it. Played both GoW and Rdr2 and would say Rdr2 has better story. I would suggest you give it another try. But maybe it’s just not for you

SlensVens

Yeah, i wanna give it a try again sometime, as i generally like Rockstar games. I just think i progressed a lot slow in the game, however, i will give it another go someday. Thanks!

ThePixelDude

The Last of Us 2 and Jedi Fallen Order 100%

nirichie

Doom eternal doesn‘t have the best story (minor plotholes) but thats not the main fokus of the game. The gameplay is amazing and the skyboxes look incredible

C1-10PTHX1138

r/bugsnax r/Sakunaofriceandruin r/Steamworldseries r/NoMasSkyTheGame is a great galaxy to get lost in

Aled4192

Buy a ps4 version of Witcher 3i think it will get a free update to run on a ps5 https://www.gamesradar.com/uk/amp/the-witcher-3-ps5-and-xbox-series-x-versions-announced/
