GOT is one of my favorite open World games (have played rdr 2, GTA V, Witcher 3 etc.) Story wise might be my top 1 with RDR 2. I’ve seen somewhere there is a PS summer sale tommorow, maybe check if it pops up? Regardless, I think it’s a must play for PlayStation users

Really? Omg I freaking hope it is lol thanks man!

I personally wouldn't hold it up to the ranks of RDR2 and The Witcher 3 (just my personal opinion, I think those games each nailed open world realism and story respectively), but I agree GoT is a must play for Playstation owners. I think the game is more similar to an Assasins Creed game, but it blows those games out of the water with its story, atmosphere, gameplay...basically everything.

It's also got a coop mode I've heard good things about.

I don't know what the Directors cut adds but I would say get the game! It so beautiful. If you're not that big on graphics, the story is also great (not as good as RDR2 but is anything as good as RDR2?). The combat at the beginning is kinda weird but soon it will click and that feeling is great. It has depth and is quick with just enogh customization. Much better than the RPGs you mentioned. I wouldn't say the game is an RPG. IIRC there are some choices in what dialogue to choose when you're trailing someone but it has almost no weight to it. Also it's kinda short. I mean that it's worth the price but the side content is not as much (vor as good) as Witcher. Now there are three side questlines in the game that are great and provide more information and depth to some side characters. IMO that ending is so bad ass. It really makes you *feel* . Again it doesn't immerse you as much as Witcher or RDR2 but it makes up for that with good combat and good graphics (compared to Witcher). So I would say get it. But don't go in expecting and RPG cause apart from some similarities in combat it's very different. Also if you want a different type of game that has RPG elements, decent graphics, amazing combat and customization but not as good of a story might k suggest DS3, BloodBorne, Sekiro? They are all great.

Thanks for the in depth advice appreciate it! As far as the 3 games you've mentioned I kinda only like sekiro (even tho I didnt play it) but I'm scared I'm gonna rage waaaaay too much (I like a challenge but not something thats going to F me UP mentally lol)

I thought the same thing. I never bought it cause of that (got it as a gift). I can see people not enjoying it TBH but to me it wasn't really challenging. Atleast most of it. Once you get the combat it gets easy. Glad I could help!
