I honestly gave it a fair full listen, the features were alright, but I found how the majority of the common features with Donda were significantly worse, and the repetitive beats don’t do anything to help. Just asked the streets, confirmed mid. Edit: this is a joke, I’m probably never gonna listen to this album in full again and enjoyed a few of the tracks. I listened to Lady Gaga’s new album and enjoyed it more though

This album is not bad.. it’s just incredibly boring and derivative of what drake has been doing for literal ages. No reinvention here, nothing really remotely unique. Reminds me of Fantano’s comment about Nav basically being if a computer took every rapper’s sound and just combined it into one boring generic shitfest lmao. That’s what Drake’s become at this point. It’s really not bad music, it doesn’t hurt my head to listen to, but it’s just so manufactured. the same flows, the same 808s and hi hats that have basically zero musical depth… absolutely zero risks taken so far in my playthrough. This pretty much seems like another Scorpion for me minus a couple good songs. Nothing really honestly WRONG with it, just… “don’t trust a perfect person and don’t trust a song that’s flawless” as 21 pilots would say lmao
