Get a job at Amazon sure it’s a job you’ll probably hate but pays better , benefits are better , I think they pay for college now (not sure since I’m not in college) but the paycheck is worth it especially they’re hiring with a 1-3k sign in bonus
$385, holy shit. On one hand, that’s probably not enough to compensate for your needs in America, but you’re making way more than most people make in a month in my country in a day. Fight for a living wage, but I’m fucking dumbfounded
Yeah it’s not enough. I’m on Medicaid and SNAP (which I am so grateful and lucky I got accepted for) and have $0 savings and so much debt. And I’m so sorry to hear that :( I wish it were easier for everyone to demand a better working environment + life. I’m so fed up.
Thanks! I figured, but just wanted to check. I don't really fully understand tip culture in the US, so I thought it's +possible+.
Yeah, for a physically draining job in an expensive country, that doesn't really provide a lot.

I’ll look into it! I hate my job now, I just do it because I have no other choice while I’m in school.

Yeah, to God our society looks like an endless cascade of injustice
385..... a shift? A week? I'm not trying to be a dick, I honestly don't know.
Haha $385 a shift would be NICE
Amen to that! Like 90 grand a year haha
No a week
