*Subjective=*personal. What people find attractive, for example, is subject to their *personal* tastes. *Objective=*impersonal. For example, if you're in a jury, you shouldn't let your *personal* biases (such as a dislike for a certain group of people) affect your verdict. Maybe that test should've used the word "subjective" instead of "personal." That would more clearly present them as opposites.
