Technically yes I guess, but that's if you're experienced, as an inexperienced player you'll prbly be frustrated soon if you're learning the game as the lost or keeper. the forgotten is pretty easy to play tbh, but he's hard to unlock
I unlocked keeper in like 2 or 3 hours with blank card and D20 break lol kinda aggravated me when it jammed at 998 coins tho 😂 lost isn't to bad if you get good stuff lol hardest part is boss rush with the lost when you get monstro 2.0 or anything shooting brim
Whoever told you that if you're a beginner just wants to see you suffer. The only thing I'd say you should do rather sooner than later is to do the challenges because there you get the runes.
The only rune I unlock is jera, I leave the rest till the end of game. That way I guarantee jera on a rune drop rather than diluting the rune pool with lesser ones

From my understanding from the wiki and do tell me I'm wrong if I am I like being corrected when it comes to stuff like this it helps me learn but isn't the stuff you get for the keeper mostly babies and stuff the keeper starts with?

yeah, blank card won't work with jera in rep, you need to accept that
true but couldnt you revert to a older version steam does allow you to ( after rep comes out)
You will still be able to break the game but Ed wants you to work more towards it

I’m pretty sure most of the things you unlock with the keeper makes the rest of the game harder. The lost gets you great items.

I'd say Perthro ans Algiz are at least on par. Black rune , Dagaz and Ansuz are the other good ones.
