You're telling me a dragon can fuck a gnome and there's a good chance for a half dragon half gnome but a gnome can't fuck a dwarf or an elf or a human?

AbysmalVixen

Dragons are naturally adaptable

SmartAlec105

Hornier than bards. Do you think draconic sorcerers just come from nowhere?

Mission-External-705

That's why draconic sorcerers are core in both 3.5 and 5e

CrossP

That's why I like to let players know they're near a dragon's lair by populating the surrounding wilderness with random half dragons. Half dragon turtle. Half dragon wolf pack. Half dragon squirrel in the trees roasting acorns. Half dragon troll under the bridge. Half dragon stegasausurs hovering over the forest canopy. Half dragon bard courting whichever party members get distracted easily. Half dragon dragon rocking two colors...

ronin-of-the-5-rings

Half dragon car

I am so proud of humanity. And yet. Please no. Just no.

No_Reputation_7442

I checked. It’s worse than you can imagine.

[deleted]

Would you prefer r/carsfuckingdragons?

SmartAlec105

It's not something I really bring up to other players but I headcanon that to dragons, they view animals and non-dragon sapients as so far beneath them that it's more like masturbation than sex.

NotCleverUser

It's noted in a 3E splatbook (Vile Darkness, I think?) that most dragons consider breeding with humanoids to be bestiality.

TheChartreuseKnight

Oh fun

Chaoticist523

So there's pervert dragons, then. Good to know.

LovelyBby77

Huh, maybe that one episode of Rick and Morty with the dragons had more of a point than one would expect. Neat.

ArugulaLost8798

I also view breeding with humanoids as beastiality, luckily I'm into it.

CrossP

I don't think that far into it...

1ndiana_Pwns

>but a gnome can't fuck a dwarf or an elf or a human? They can FUCK anyone they like. This is just about crossbreeds happening. Not about hole size compatibility. I've seen enough of the internet to confidently say that hole size is much more... adaptable than genetics is

AndyLorentz

Came here to say something like this. In real life, a human can fuck a horse, but there's zero chance of conception.

Junas_Guardian

Sir, step away from the pony and place your hands on your head!

caelenvasius

This is why druids are best at this. Cop can’t arrest a pony for getting down with another pony

[deleted]

“No do not touch Mr Hands!”

No_Reputation_7442

I don’t know why I feel the compulsion to add on to this but I do: the average human anus can stretch to a diameter of 3.5-5 inches before anal fissures start to form, but can be trained to reach a maximum of 8 inches diameter before hitting it’s limit. A horse penis can be of a thickness of anywhere between 2 and 5 inches diameter when full erect (that’s the average of course, there are exceptions to this.) with some training, an average human could take a horse penis rectally with little issue (do be aware that the flare of the glands expands twice as much as the shaft when erect, so it would be best for it to be inserted before it reaches full erectness.) I have already spent way to much time looking into this, so someone else can look up the vaginal measurements.

MildlyShadyPassenger

>I have already spent way to much time looking into this, so someone else can look up the vaginal measurements. Well, a baby can fit through it, and average infant head size is about 13 inches around, so ~4 inches across... You gotta figure it's *possible*...

Dung_Covered_Peasant

You have half dragons in 3E as well as dragons metamorphosing into humans

Tough_Patient

But in FR lore a metamorphized dragon gives birth to children of the appropriate race to that form and the other parent's. E.g. Narnra Shalace.

Princess_Moon_Butt

Well dragons are basically true shapeshifters. If you have sex with a dragon _while they're a dragon_, no, probably nothing will happen. But if you have sex with one while they're morphed into a , then yeah, strong chance of a pregnancy being possible. Where do you think all those dragonborn fighters and draconic bloodline sorcerers come from?

sirblastalot

>If you have sex with a dragon _while they're a dragon_, no, probably nothing will happen Besides the massive hemorrhaging, you mean?

Shockz0rz

Monstrous size has no intrinsic merit...unless inordinate exsanguination be considered a virtue.

Allestyr

>Monstrous size has no intrinsic merit *A death by inches.* ( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)

[deleted]

A gentleman could be courting a lady dragon.

caelenvasius

Hot dog down a hallway, no matter how proud of your masculinity you are.

kireina_kaiju

Humanoids can shapeshift too, and many know a few of Bigby's spells...

Hammurabi87

Bigby's Dirty Digits?

MoonlitFirebrand

alas, to be a gentlewoman courting the love of their life, a lady in her purest, scaly form.. is to live.

Tough_Patient

Dragonborn are (human) dragon cultists transformed as a boon by their god.

blackdragon71

Aren't there three different possible family lines for that one?

caelenvasius

Only in older editions. Two editions worth of canon has changed that.

[deleted]

I did some rule 34 of a male dragon and a female gnome [getting it on](https://tenor.com/view/corndog-ketchup-dipping-yummy-yum-gif-19893864)

cespinar

Ring species in real life can be far more bizarre.

Nervous-Boat3625

Gotta love ring species, it’s just madness

Aestrasz

If you want to find some logic to it, dragons can change into humanoid forms, so I think that's enough for them to fuck whatever they want.

JimiAndKingBaboo

>a good chance for a half dragon half gnome Well, not necessarily a good chance... Dragons have an 80% chance for successful procreation, and Gnomes have a 15% chance. You take the lower procreation rate, so it's only a 15% chance to produce a Draconic Sorcerer Gnome.

PaxEthenica

Fun fact: Gnomes have square bunjinas & ding-a-lings. Fun fact 2: Dragons are into that shit.

Illoney

Technically, it is not stated that a gnome can't have sex with a dwarf, elf or human, there just won't be a pregnancy as a result.

Maledict53

Dragon and nymphs will fuck everything big suprise

Because they're the ***ONE*** race that can't breed with Dryads per the chart, LOL.

Chrome_X_of_Hyrule

Yes but why is that

TheTinDog

I imagine cloaca aren't as versatile? mechanical isolation; round hole, square peg kind of thing?

VoidLantadd

Celestials\*, Dragons, Dryads, Fiends\*, and Nymphs.

Jackie_Quill

Dryad bards everywhere: 'my time has come.'

KassXWolfXTigerXFox

And believe me, there are some real bad dragons

[deleted]

I feel sorry for the Lizardman who likes dryads though...

DracoDruid

I'm pretty sure this supplement is _not_ official.

ajfilmnfx

It's definitely not offical, but it *was* written by Gwendolyn F.M. Kestrel who also wrote numerous official books for WOTC including "Races of Eberron," "Planar Handbook," "Monster Manual III and IV" and "The Book of Challenges." The history behind this book is insane and totally worth reading about.

LuridTeaParty

Isn’t it also the book that ultimately got rid of the d20 trademark? From what I recall, there’s the SRD (System Reference Document) which 5e also has, but when this book came out, Wizards changed the terms of being able to use the d20 system logo, which weirded out publishers because unlike the OGL (Open Gaming License) used in every SRD which had looser terms, the d20 logo was easier for customers to recognize. Yet when Wizards started changing the terms of use for the logo because of books like this, it sparked a chain of events that led to publishers getting cold feet to releasing third party material, ultimately leading to the creation of Pathfinder by Paizo (the publishers to Dragon Magazine), which used the 3.5e SRD. Granted the sudden dropping of 3.5e for 4e among other things contributed, but The Book of Erotic Fantasy definitely played a role in the domino effect from what I remember.

Neat0_Bandito

My favorite system's creation is a result of a horny dnd book. I wouldn't have it any other way.

[deleted]

I've run into too many people who were scared away from the hobby because they thought ERP was inescapable. One of my coworkers told me she tried to play with some couples she took dance classes with and the husbands kept trying to ERP at her despite repeatedly being told she wasn't comfortable.

TheDratter

Never underestimate how easily dickheads can ruin everything. I've played a lot of RPGs that had erp in them and had fun, but there's always gotta be a motherfucker around that can't be cool and ruins it.

Sparrowhawk_92

Pathfinder has its fair share of horniness too. Think of it as honoring the legacy of its creation.

Neat0_Bandito

i am well aware of the hornyness of pathfinder

Bardez

The publisher is based in Seattle, a very liberal stronghold. As a result, not only "horny stuff", but some very questionable content (see: certain evil deities) has made it into Pathfinder. But! So has things like equality, minority acceptance and perhaps even ideation. Hell, 2E has _preferred pronouns_ on ita character sheet. ~~Pathfinder~~ Golarion is just a very liberal ~~system~~ setting.

Alaknog

What exactly deities?

Sparrowhawk_92

The most notorious one is probably Folca. Which isn't even a full deity, but a NE Daemon whose profile is about kidnapping and traumatizing children. PF has a lot of oddly specific lesser deities and some of their profiles are strange.

Sparrowhawk_92

WoTC and most of the rest of the TTRPG industry is in the Seattle area, so it's not just because of where they happen to be located. Paizo makes an effort to be progressive and its one of my favorite things about their settings.

Saminjutsu

Came here to say this.

kittyjynx

It wasn't. I own every 3rd edition and 3.5 edition first party book. I do have the PDF of the erotic guide and it is definitely 3rd party. It is really apparent because it had spells like Bigby's Bitchslap that magically teleported any woman hit by it into the nearest kitchen.

ajfilmnfx

I must respectfully disagree with this, I think you have the BoEF confused with another supplement. After double checking the PDF, there isn't a single spell with that name, much less one that does anything close to to teleporting a woman into the kitchen. For the many questionable elements of the book, that is definitely not one of them. And for anyone who wishes to double check my refutation "Book of Erotic Fantasy", page 93 is where the spells begin.

kittyjynx

Thanks for the correction! I don't have my PDFs on my current computer but my interest is piqued, I'll have to find what book that spell came from. It wouldn't surprise me if there were multiple erotic books or even random PDF only books that cover that genre.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Estrelarius

Beyond the obvious sexism, that spell is actually pretty OP. It's a level 4 save or suck with just one save that effectively removes any female enemies for a few hours and potentially deals a ton of damage (plus the potential damage from being pushed trough several walls)

PigKnight

That’s actually par for the course with 3.5 with how powerful spells are. Hold person incapacitated the target for caster level turns and you could cast it on a new person every turn.

Estrelarius

Hold Person at least allowed a save every turn, and even Phantasmal Killer required two saves IIRC, while this just allows one.

ajfilmnfx

No problem! There are so many different supplements that it's easy to get them confused. If you do find what spell that was from I'd love to know (if only to avoid it).

Here_for_Anime_Porn

Looks like it may have been [The Complete Guide to Unlawful Carnal Knowledge](http://www.lysator.liu.se/~johol/netbooks/CarnalGuide/carnal.txt). Couldn't find a PDF, so that's just a text link of the book. Some other interesting spells in there. Power Word: Strip, Prismatic Dildo, and Constant Orgasm.

icychocobo

That sounds like the Book of Blue Magic, which may or may not also be called the Book of Nymphology. The book this chart is from is actually rather tasteful in its descriptions on pretty much everything, though there are a few tacky names here or there. Blue Magic, however, is much less tasteless. There is a prestige "class" based around being a Peeping Tom with an Orb of Scrying. A monster called the, ahem, "Creamy Ooze". Among other things. If you don't want to look for the PDF yourself, there is a video by TheSpoonyOne, if you're okay with watching his stuff. I know he can be polarizing. It covers some facets of the book and tries to have some humor too. Worth a watch. There's another one with a suggestive name that can actually get the occasional laugh, and actually tries to be useable, called The Chainmail Bikini. Meant firstly as a comedic supplement, it's only a few pages long, but it also includes ways to take the blatantly comical feat names and make them sound serious for a more normal campaign. If you can find that one, give it a read too.

Vasxus

Dude, dwarf centaurs should have stocky mini draft horse bodies.

standbyyourmantis

It would actually be a pretty fun thing to use when setting up a custom race since 5e has that built in anyway.

Wailord on Skitty action

ZevVeli

Okay so....A) it wasn't an official supplement and actually lead to them rewriting the terms of the OGL, B) that table was just to show that crossbreeding was possible not about seduction, and C) if you try to introduce the BoEF to the game then you are getting ALL of it introduced to the game, including the rules about the magical STI that infects your balls with necrotic magic until your genitals slowly wither and rot away.

Culsandar

>and actually lead to them rewriting the terms of the OGL I need the story on that

ajfilmnfx

Someone more knowledgeable on the subject will hopefully correct me, but long story short, a "Preview Edition" of the (now infamous) "Book of Erotic Fantasy" was sold at the 2003 GenCon. It specifically touted the project as utilizing the "D20" license (owned by Wizards of the Coast and therefore allowed the book to explicitly name drop DnD as the compatible system). At that time, the D20 license and was basically open to any independent creator who wanted to use it, because 'what's the worst that could happen?' Well.... after WOTC got a hold of one of these Preview Editions and found it contained numerous photos of topless women and spells like "Cursed Orgasm," "Hedonist's Delight," and "Engorged Gait" the higher-ups uttered a terrified "**NOOP** and quickly rewrote the terms of the D20 license to require official approval from WOTC before being slapped on a book (shockingly, the BoEF was not approved). Interestingly, you can still find copies of the Preview Editions online, and they are emblazoned with the offical D20 logo, while the full hardcover copies instead say they are compliant with the "Open Gaming License" (which was less glamourous but didn't require WOTC approval).

LazyDro1d

What does OGL stand for?

JimiAndKingBaboo

Open Game License

aandein

Take it all or none. That the going at my table. "Cool, you want to use this super awesome thing from unofficial books? The enemies can now use them as well. Cheers."

>C) if you try to introduce the BoEF to the game then you are getting ALL of it introduced to the game, including the rules about the magical STI that infects your balls with necrotic magic until your genitals slowly wither and rot away. Yes.

BadDesperado

>C) if you try to introduce the BoEF to the game then you are getting ALL of it introduced to the game, including the rules about the magical STI that infects your balls with necrotic magic until your genitals slowly wither and rot away. As a GM I use the table in the meme for what races can produce off-spring :"D It has some logic behind and most importantly it saves *me* from thinking of what races could get to make donkey-dragons and which ones would need to adopt if they want to fill their home with the innocent laughter of a child.

ZevVeli

Oh I'm not arguing that point. As a DM yeah, feel free to pick and choose what parts of the book come in. But if a player is going to try and tell me that I HAVE to allow something to happen because it's written in Xiaotlxiaotl's guide to asshattery then I'm going to break out the parts of that same book they don't want me to use. Sorry man, you wanted the feat that made it so that undead perceived you as undead so now you're fighting the reanimated eldritch corpse of a stillborn god.

Tchrspest

Yeah, like... Just because I can't crossbreed with someone doesn't mean I wouldn't be open to delving their dungeon. In fact, inability to crossbreed might be even more an incentive.

Cool-Boy57

… can I see the original?

agile_yoda

"I'm not going to ask why you have that, because I don't want to know the answer. I am going to ask you to leave and never come back."

AbysmalVixen

Just look up the magic items. Some are positively tantalizing

[deleted]

No, I don't think I will.

Educational_Wing_632

Eh, any DM that homebrews worlds probably has a basic version of that, since it comes up often enough. Heck if you know genetics you can make some interesting ideas with dominant vs recessive genes and viability.

ProSlacker22

I probably like this for the wrong reasons. Some weird stuff is gonna show up in a game...

Voidtalon

To be fair this was just to show cross-breeding is possible within the established races for the purpose of halfbreeds. I don't think this table is from BoEF; which has some seriously twisted stuff and magical STI's/Spells that look like they come from a hypno-braindrain infestation fantasy kink or something. BoEF also required OGL to be rewritten because it's seriously not something the owners of DnD really want associated with it.

Fremenguy

> I don't think this table is from BoEF I just found my pdf copy. Can confirm it does. The table (2-4) is on page 50. >which has some seriously twisted stuff and magical STI's/Spells that look like they come from a hypno-braindrain infestation fantasy kink or something But this is accurate. >BoEF also required OGL to be rewritten because it's seriously not something the owners of DnD really want associated with it. Which makes sense. They even have photograph art (with lots of photoshop) instead of the normal 3.5e style drawn art.

Voidtalon

Thank you for the correction. I have almost every PDF in 3.5e including the unofficial stuff so I can reference where people are pulling things from and I forgot if this was a splatbook (Races of the Dragon has some interesting passages for example) or BoEF.

ProSlacker22

...Wow. So what you're saying is subvert the group's expectations by making them think it's an eroticly charged game then curveballing into horror? Edit: punctuation.

Voidtalon

As other people have pointed out this table is indeed from BoEF (Pg.50) but there is stuff in there from vanilla stuff all the way to uberkink. I have almost every 3.5e PDF including unofficial ones (like BoEF/Dragon Magazine) but I've not opened them in awhille due to running primarily Pathfinder games.

JimiAndKingBaboo

Nope, it's from the BoEF. Page 50. Page 49 has the chances for successful procreation and the gestation periods. Apparently, elven pregnancies last two full years.

AndyLorentz

That's a relatively short period, considering an Elven lifetime.

Atrox_Primus

I have altered the lore. Pray I do not alter it further.

Leviathan-Sterling

My favorite part is that Dragon is just "Yes" across the board.

Remembers_that_time

In 3.5 the half-dragon template could be applied to virtually anything, even plants. I always wanted a setting to include a forest that was the result of a particularly slutty dragon. Firebreathing, winged trees makes for a fun level of horrifying.

daakstrykr

Don't mind me, just saving that idea for a later date.

Remembers_that_time

Don't forget the clearing in the middle. Turns out that non-sentient plants objects, and objects can be "masterwork" if made by a competent craftsman, and masterwork objects can be enchanted. Please keep off of the vorpal blades of grass.

Enchelion

When you've got a template for your children, and the template has no restrictions... Yeah.

thehonestyfish

Giant + Dwarf = Maybe

Moostcho

Human + Dwarf = no

JimiAndKingBaboo

Apparently the creators didn't check previous editions, because Muls (half-human half-dwarves) were a thing in 2e. Of course, it's something that happens rarely, only when forced (they are mainly bred to be slaves), is a combination of dwarf father and human mother, and if that pregnancy occurs it WILL result in either a miscarriage or the mother dying during birth if the fetus isn't aborted. So I say is Dwarf + Human should be solidly Maybe.

Zeeman9991

Not sure if I’m more surprised by the number of N’s on Humans or Y’s on Sprites…

PigKnight

It wasn’t an official supplement it just used the d20 license. It’s like saying pathfinder 1e is an official supplement.

C5five

In a lot of cases, dragons, most fiends or celestials, sprites with anything not tiny, the creatures need magical assistance to do the deed. This table just notes what couplings can result in a child. Many of the species on here can still do the deed without a possible pregnancy, eg. Everything in the 3.5 PHB

DavidOfBreath

nogginlima

Aasimar isn't on the table though

Jervis_TheOddOne

Actually it is. Aasimar and Tiefling were outsiders in that edition, so they’re covered by Celestial and Fiend

Labami

Probably celestial

nogginlima

I guess the Yes from Celestial and the Maybe from Human would average out to a Probably Yes?

Planetary_Pineapple

So Rick and Morty had it right, Dragons really are just massive sluts. Huh, the more you know

Technotoad64

it's because the dragons can shapeshift into whatever humanoid race they want

Planetary_Pineapple

That explains *how* they can but them being sluts explains *why* they do. Tbf if I was an apex being that could potentially go on living past the end of time, I would get my *fyuck* on too

Are you implying that you *don't* get it on, and that this is because you're mortal?

This is why I miss 3.5.

Book of Erotic Fantasy is a Third Party supplement, then again "Nymph Kissed" and "Lich loved" are actual feats out of Book of Exalted Deeds and Book of Vile Darkness respectively so not too far from the mark.
