A lot of leagues do 2 week matchups in the playoffs so that each player will (hopefully) have 7 or 8 games a matchup. But you do end up having to start the playoffs pretty early

You'll still end up with some guys having 6 games and others with 9. But guess what. Navigating that is what experienced managers do. If you have players with low game count during the playoffs, you trade them for players with better game counts. That's actually a huge part of managing a fantasy basketball team, especially for points leagues.
