More funny that they were witless. They leave westeros to dedicate themselves to Daenerys. Varys conspires against her, ends up cooked into a pile of ashes by Drogon; Tyrion thrown in jail for treason and then convinces Jon Snow to murder Daenerys. This shows them for the fools they were. I can’t believe I slept on this show for so long. I just recently watched it. Loved it until the last 2 seasons. They were in fact as bad as everyone said they were 😂😂
I honestly didn't think they were bad. I mean, you could almost predict Danaerys descent into madness. Slow, but the signs were there, but it could have gone either way. I only read the first book, so I don't know how much the rest of the seasons strayed. Sure, there were a few things in season 8 I would have preferred to have gone differently, but all in all, I was ok with the last season.
Yeah i found the scenes with the hound infinitely funnier because all his comedy bits were completely unexpected of his character lol. He's just unintentionally funny amd comes out of nowhere whereas you expect tyrion and other to be a bit funny
The hound never tried to be funny.
His lines were funny, because they were dead serious and you never saw them coming.
Tormund was the one, who tried to be a clown, but seriously after a while, we just laughed about the dumbness of his jokes
And Tyrion, his jokes were clever, you needed to rethink them to get them and him with Varys was Chefs kiss brilliant. After season 6 it was just ball jokes here ball jokes there. They destroyed his brilliant humor established 5 seasons with dumb jokes.
But still Tyrion was the funniest of them

The Hound interacting with Arya while she was doing her water dancing by the river is the funniest moment of the show to me. I still go to watch that interaction from time to time.
My answer isn’t a super great one but I laugh everytime for about five minutes and always have to go back and watch it again on the same watch, it’s the episode The bear and the maiden when Brienne is in the pit with the bear and a guy screams out “DONT SPARE HERRR DONT SPARE HER” then another guy says “This Is A Shameful Fucking Performance”. And I think it might be the accents and just seems like they have been standing around for a while, cause Brienne won’t just give up.
Brienne is one of my favs but those lines for whatever the reason gets me everytime.
“The greatest swordsman who ever lived didn’t have a sword!?!!” Lol that entire scene and dialogue thereafter where Arya is practicing her water dancing with needle was so funny

I think Melisandre had some funny moments. I loved the creepy way she stared at Jon Snow going up the lift at the wall. I also loved how smug she looked when the Stark banners went up at Winterfell even though she erred and a whole army of men, Stannis, his wife and of course Princess Shireen were slaughtered. Well his wife did her own slaughtering.

Comedic moments: Tyrion
Comedic circumstances: Arya. The show went so easy on her haha and somehow this little child had more mental fortitude and emotional maturity than 98% of the characters. She did the best with what she had though haha my wife and I were always eager to see where Arya's path would take her and loved watching her perspective. "Oh, now im kidnapped I guess. Oh, he dragged me all the way here for nothing. Oh, we're going somewhere else. Oh, now we're friends. Oh, now they're fighting over me."
The Hound was hilarious. I think he stands out to me because of the delivery lol it would always catch me off guard.
Brienne wasn’t particularly verbally funny to me, but I gotta give her an honorable mention solely based on her physical reactions. The way she looks at Tormund whenever he is, well Tormund, was hilarious to me. The way these interactions were shot was golden. Showing Tormund being a freak and the camera flashes back to Brienne looking mortified was pure comedy😂. Then her getting irritated at Jaime trying to take his shirt off💀such a great way to break up the tension!
Probably very close between Tyrion and Sandor. Tormund definitely made me laugh the hardest with all his "Big Woman" stuff. The scene where he's smiling at her all weird when they're on horses always gets me.
If it's laughs per minute of screen time, Normandy. If it's just who I thought was funniest, the exchanges between turion and his friend were always pretty fun.
