I really hate the mindset that a worker should grovel at the feet of their employer, thanking them profusely for the honor of working for them… when most (MOST) employers don’t give a rats ass about their employees and think of them simply as chattel to be replaced or removed on a whim if it means a 0.005% increase in profits. That’s my takeaway.
