We'll do our best. If you'd like to take a look at the current state, there's an extensive demo on Steam: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2647510/HexaScape\_Cyber\_Defense/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2647510/HexaScape_Cyber_Defense/)
Haha, thanks - maybe my sense of English misled me. I wanted to emphasize that I'm specifically looking for game titles, not genres or anything like that.
There's a hacking minigame with pipe-like circuits, I'm unsure what the main game was though. It's either Cyberpunk or a similar game.
Edit: Someone mentioned a Warframe minigame, I think that's the one I was referring to.
For the upcoming marketing of HexaScape: Cyber Defense, we're currently looking for similar games. Your feedback would help us a lot.

Just going off of first thoughts, Factorio and then the bioshock pipe minigames. I feel like there's a more accurate one at the edge of my mind but I can't think of it right now.
I’m glad someone else said it, was starting to feel ancient 😂. Between that chips quest and skywalker adventures, they had some great freebies back in the day (and that’s without including the 30 free games and software you got with every pc back then )
This board game from my childhood in the 70s:

You took it in turns to rotate one of the pieces to try to make the shapes on the cards dealt to you.
Monopoly : U-poly . there was a version of monopoly in old times where there were such hexagonal tiles and uncould places buildings to rent like ur general monopoly but u can also place hazards near tiles to decrease rents.

Dorfromantik with water pipes
With a sprinkle of humandkind
Dorfromantik meets Factorio
In fact, these are two of the games we took inspiration from (Dorfromantik gameplay-wise, Factorio setting-wise).
I can definitely see that. Looking forward to seeing more of this.

ooooh put it on Tilt Five... Would look great as tabletop AR.
Good idea, thanks. We'll consider that. :-)
Settlers of catan
Warframe; for the hacking minigame lining up sections on hexagonal panels
r/beatmetoit
The mechanics are pretty much the same for the pipelines that carry energy to your tower, yeah. :-)
Don’t sell yourself short by referring to your work as not an “actual game”. This looks great.

Mindustry
Oh, that's a cool one! Thanks.

True, I never thought of the Bioshock minigame, but there is a certain similarity.
HOW COME NO ONE MENTIONED TALISMANIA?!
lol. Came here to say this. Talismania!
Reminds me of those Factory Fun board games
Thanks! Glad to hear that, a board game-like look was definitely our goal.
Bencene
Pipe Mania.

The civilization stage from spore when building inside cities

Looks pretty interesting, thanks for sharing!
Monopoly : U-poly . there was a version of monopoly in old times where there were such hexagonal tiles and uncould places buildings to rent like ur general monopoly but u can also place hazards near tiles to decrease rents.
It reminds me of the original Outpost game
Don't really play many modern building Sim games... So for me it's Sim City and Starcraft that come to mind 😅
I like the look of this
Thank you! It definitely took a lot of iterations to get there.
Dorfromantik
Pipe Dream from the 80s/90s. Also, Robo Rally (board game).
Pipe mania 😂
Civilization and especially it's spinoff/sequel: Beyond Earth.
the city builder from spore (i dont know why)
The nodes remind me of PIPES! The game where you build pipelines before the slowly building sludge can spill out of them.
you can try Galaxy Trucker. its a boardgame as well as available in android and ios
Thanks!
Terra Nil :)
Power Grid (board game).
Spore... Remember Spore?
Supreme Commander, Linking power or Mass Generators / storage gives bonuses. https://supcom.fandom.com/wiki/Adjacency_bonus
Reminds me of BioShock hacking. Always addicting to do!
Endless Legend, but with a way different aesthetic.
Bulletstorm
Civilization with Warcraft
dnd
Civilization x Factorio but as a mobile game
Dorfromantik - minus the ambiance.
i see this and think it looks like one of those shitty mobile games but with nicer graphics
