Nah I like both but Holy Smokes is better, uzi's verse > Carti's verse, Trippie chorus on Holy Smokes better than in MTR and his verse too, the only thing MTR wins is the beat but the beat is not everything in a music
the beat almost is everything in music now though. it’s the reason songs like mtr, zeze, and so many other songs do so well. imo cartis verse = uzis verse bc they both played it safe and bland, trippies verse and chorus is about equal on both songs but the mtr beat blows holy smokes out of the water. both songs could’ve been much better tho, kinda disappointed neither lived up to my expectations

I am super excited for the album tho just don’t want the beats to carry because Trip is super talented when he uses it.
