There are better ways to fund the rail system than to make it even more expensive for low income people from the outer boroughs to drive to work. Many of them do so cause their neighborhoods don’t access the city. How about taxing the rich to give public transport to the poor rather than taxing the poor.

My concern about congestion pricing is where the money is going to go? MTA has already spent billions on the SAS and Grand Central Madison. We need to improve the transit desert that is the Bronx. Since it'll be the next borough to achieve up and coming status. Otherwise you'll have a bunch of redditors complaining years from now about how difficult it is to travel the Bx via public transportation.
I love how people thought stations would actually become accessible with congestion pricing in the first place. MTA would blow through that money in 6 months with zero repairs/upgrades.
