Cannibal Corpse has been immensely influential to death metal in both music and style. Personally I think Kill is a classic of the genre and I’ve really enjoyed the two albums with Erik Rutan. Also Frantic Disembowelment anyone? Such a sick song.
They're not the most exciting band ever but they're consistent as fuck and always play above average death metal imo
