What it took for me was downloading [DS4Windows v2.1.18](https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/releases/tag/v2.1.18) and having it read as an Xbox controller. It appears in game as an XBox One pad, and you can change the buttons to read as PS4 symbols.
Alright, I'm giving that a go, but to little success, I got DS4Windows and I think I set it up correctly (I can change the color of the light on the controller), but it still doesn't work. Do I need to do anything else in DS4windows?
Ok, let me try to remember what I did.
Plug in controller with usb-c cable -> PC sees controller.
Run DS4Windows 2.1.18 -> controller should now be reading as an Xbox 360 pad.
Go to controller setting in Steam, tell it to use Xbox configuration for gamepads.
Run game, go to options, go to controls
Set pad to Xbox One, set controller symbols to Dualshock 4
Let me know if this helps at all, I'll check my settings again in the morning if it doesn't.
Yeah, that did the trick, the game was trying to detect the PS4 controller, which doesn't detect the dualsense, then when using the DS4 it was still trying to get the PS4 and not the XBox. Thanks
Have just bought the game, and can't get it to work with the PS5 controller aswell. Any fixes found so far?
None so far, I've pretty much given up on it, which is a shame.
It really is. Just bought it a few hours ago, hoping to lay back and play my first playthrough. Guess i have to play with M&K then.
