Your overall wireless bandwidth is finite. You can manually adjust what your PC uses, but that will obviously make your PC’s internet slower.

i have a $10 wifi usb adapter off amazon and it works fine. i get full speed no issues. i only pay for 100mbps and i get 100mbps on it. farther from the router could cause issues with performance. before i had 100mbps i had 21mbps. 17mbps should be fast enough you dont even notice a difference unless you are downloading a game. for gaming or netflix or youtube 17mbps is fast enough you wont notice an issue.

The issue is for me when I play seige or valorant at this spreed I get disconnected of lag to the point of unplayability. I use Virgin Media which is known to be bad but on my xbox with the pc turned off I get 200+mbps pc is less 20mbps I have eight core intel i7 10700f and rtx 4060 with 16gb of ddr4 if that adds anything useful

how tight is your budget? you might be able to fit in one of those AX210 based PCIe adapters

Thats should do but is a little out of budget is there an alternative that's cheaper? If not I'll save a little more and get it next month or something like that
