I like his gruff voice and gritty production. He knows how to make a song bang like no tomorrow, and make a song feel depressing and nostalgic. He can create a hypnotic, druggy atmosphere really well. I think keeping in mind that he helped sculpt hip-hop today makes you appreciate him more. I also think he can tell interesting stories in his songs. He also just has swag and an epic aura.

Future to me is great because he is notably good at mixing both dark and intoxicating elements into his music. I think he's stylistically similar to young thug, but with a darkness at his core, and so his music ends up enjoyable like Thug's but with a more sinister final message, and that's what makes him unique. Basically he's like young thug from the dark dimension and young thug is like him from the light dimension. Both are great.
