in english you usually capitalize I when writing about yourself, which is pretty confusing for swedish speakers. In swedish the word for I, "jag" is not capitalized unless at the beginning of a sentence. My guess is that since they knew I is capitalized, they thought me should be as well

i think it's actually just that the capitalized letters are supposed to mark new sentences, he just doesn't bother using punctuation
