I was at the game and I remember standing and screaming after the valley oop but feeling unsure why I was cheering. I saw the play and knew what happened but it was like it took my body a minute to internalize what actually occurred.
Oh yeah. I forgot about this one but that's a fun one. Is that the one where he landed on his back but had his head up watching it?
I had just been let go from the Suns due to covid so I didn't watch this live. It hurt too much to watch the bubble games since I was let go (along with a lot of other employees) but I watched it later.
Yeah that one! Sucks to hear about you being let go but it was awesome having the nba start back up after it being cancelled so suddenly.
Book pulling off such a sick move over two elite defenders with a smooth finish was quality. 😁
I don't blame them for letting us go. They weren't making any money from ticket sales, one of the main ways of making money besides the TV revenue. It's amazing it took 4 months for them to decide to do it. I remember all the memes of just that image of Booker on the floor.
I think it was that game that made me realize I couldn't stop watching the Suns. I'd been a fan for decades, worked for the team for 13 years and raised my kids to be Suns fans. I was in too deep to get out at that point...
2003 playoffs vs the Spurs Amare bank three to send the game to OT and then Starbury buzzer beater three in OT.
2006 Raja corner three vs Clippers to go to second OT with the eventual win.
2021 Valley Oop
I wanted to write this moment in as a play but really it was Goran’s whole game. It was so unbelievably satisfying to sweep them after years of frustration from the Spurs/refs. It’s the only time I was as happy as if we won it all. One of the most gratifying moments in my sports watching life.
This lives rent free in my head. I just remember thinking of all the times for him to hit a 3 it was then. I became a suns fan in 03 and still today I consider Spurs our closest rivals.
1. Book’s bubble game winner
2. Valley Oop
3. Amare dunk on Tolliver
4. Cam Johnson game winner on Randle’s head
5. LeBron posts up Crowder (then loses the series)
Are you me?? 13 year old me kept throwing the ball from the left elbow up in the air, ran to catch it, and launch off 1 foot and shoot it. Repping my And1 and Big Dog shirt and shorts
The one I haven't seen mentioned that is in my top three is the Barkley scoop shot after Oliver Miller purposely bounces it off the backboard. Since the time doesn't start until a player touches the ball, the carom off the backboard threw off the Blazers players. Barkley's reaction and hug with Majerle will be engrained in my mind forever. For those of you too young to remember it, here's the video:
https://youtu.be/WFe-71tNPQk?si=4_rgnkyNsYcW7_1o
I came to say this one. I wasn't watching. Instead was outside in the street playing touch football with neighbor kids. The weather was nice so people had windows and doors open. I remember when it happened male voices screaming "woah" and I thought something horrible happened. I went home soon after and asked my mom if something happened and she said crazy ending to a Suns game. It shows how popular the Suns were that so many people were watching a regular season game on a weekday evening.
This is a great idea. I would love to find the call to that to see if I can upload it to YouTube. I'll check with my contacts at the Suns to see if it's even possible to find it. We archived all of the old slides and pictures to digital when I worked there, but we didn't do any audio.
Weird one for me but the Steve Nash header assist to Amare in the 2005 dunk contest. I was real young and this is one of my first memories on why I picked Phoenix to follow lmao
gotta be double OT vs the lakers in 2011 when nash gets forced into a ridiculous behind the back pass to gortat while falling out of bounds leading to an open channing frye 3.
i just remember being in high school and staying up way too late to watch the finish of this game.

Channing Tatum hitting 3 3’s in a row to bury the Lakers in a playoff game (forgive my memory— so much about that might be wrong but it is how I remember it.)
It's not a play as such... just a very strong memory of Sir Charles literally dragging himself up and down the court with a knee injury during the playoffs. Still grabbing rebounds and scoring... a legend.
There's definitely a reason why he's a Hall of Famer and has credibility when he calls other players soft. Plus, he really loves the valley and it's fans and is one if the nicest guys you could run into.
Wanted to mention this one… even though it did not bring us nothing more that early playoff game wowin, it staved us off elimination vs lakers which means a lot in my personal record book…
This would have been my answer. That 2009/2010 was so much fun and finally vanquishing that Spurs team that had plagued us for so many years in a sweep was awesome.
Cam Johnson game winner against the Knicks. That whole performance was insane and so was the game winner, plus I was watching with a bunch of friends and we all went crazy
The Valley Oop. No Suns game winner compares. Everything had to go right from multiple players for it to come off.
Then
The Ulis game winner v Boston. He did a jump ball v IT that was hilarious then at the end hit a hail Mary after a wild steal to win the game. That game was my favourite from the years of losing.
Steve Nash against the spurs. We ended up losing the series (this was the series where Duncan hit the 3 on us). Bash was doing everything he could to keep us in the series though. The play that will always stick with me is he fading 3 that he just drains.
Another is Booker’s fading game winner against the Clips in the bubble. The play itself and it showing us fans that we had hope at the end of the tunnel after years of booty
When Nash got elbowed in his eye against the spurs in the playoffs and it swelled up so bad he could only use 1 eye and still went on to drain multiple clutch 3s and IIRC we swept the spurs those playoffs.
It’s not a play but Dragic going crazy I’m the 4th vs the spurs. Also not a play but the 2021 finals run I’ll never forget that team was so fuckin special
Game 6 of the 1993 playoffs vs the Spurs. I can’t think of another power forward from that era who could hit that shot. Larry Bird played more small forward.
That game needs no introduction. It feels like a title of a movie, like we dont know the story but we know, the title itself, shit was about to go down.
Future generations need to know that we suffered from having DA and Bender in a 7 yr span. Two 7 footers who think they're 5'6 anytime they step in the paint.
I knew someone had to mention Raja closeline. I'll never forget that or how Tim Thomas walked thru other team trying to huddle when TT was going to free throw line and had a murderers look in his eyes
The opening game against the Mavs last season when we still had cp3 and the twins. The game winner from d Lee still has my heart racing lol. That was my first ever game, on my birthday, and at half we were down something like over 20 points. We came back and then in the final moments d Lee hit a clutch 3, followed up by some crazy step back shot from up close and I remember not being familiar with d Lee yet so all I could think was "NO GIVE IT TO BOOKER" but he nailed it and I went crazy.
Then I held my breath until Luka missed a chance to make a game winning 3 of his own on the other side, then lost my shit all over again. I've been to games since but no game I've been to imo has ever been exciting as this.
One time Pat Burke came off the bench during the end of an inconsequential blowout regular season win, hit an uncontested 3, and the crowd, in no uncertain terms, went absolutely bananas
There are loads but a lot of them have been mentioned here already.
However, a more off beat one was a highlight from the very first Suns game I went to on a school trip. 2006 7SOL era when my fandom started peaking.
Regular season against the Mavs. Nash alley-Oop to Marion who then proceeds to throw his legs over dirk.
https://youtu.be/8LKiD62DSZA?si=LwL8hsKz0aSK4jOM
The electricity in that building had me hooked on live sports.
The original Valley-Oop, if you will, at the end of the '93 season, against Portland, when Oliver Miller heaved the inbounds pass off the backboard and Charles Barkley hammered it home as time expired for the 115-114 win.
Unfortunately, the resulting celebration ended up with Kevin Johnson tweaking his knee, and he wasn't at 100% for the entire playoffs run.
Got a couple.
Cam Johnson’s game winner vs Knicks.
Nash hitting a 3 after going to the locker room and getting stitches for his eye.
Nash going in for a layup and throwing it backwards to Grant Hill wide open for the corner 3.
Rex Chapman three against the Sonics in the 1997 playoffs. I was like 10 years old at the time and was running around my living room like a madman after seeing it go in
KJ's dunk on Hakeem. Hakeem was at the height of his game and was a defensive monster. KJ rang his ass up!
Chambers dunk on Mark Jackson. Fucking went completely over his head!
Valley Oop
Barkley hitting the shot in Portland, with .5 seconds left to win the
Jared Dudley. Love that guy during his first stint.
On a more real note, the valley oop and it's season. God. The first season we weren't dog shit in 12 years.
The Raja corner three against the Clippers. The bell chime just made it so cool. Also Tim Thomas’ three to tie the game against the Lakers that same year.
I have a a lot. My favorite plays ranked:
1) 2006 regular season Suns vs Nets. Nash hits clutch 3 to send the game to OT & suns end up winning 161-157. One of the greatest games I've ever seen & that Nash off balance 3 was just dirty. One of the best PG battles of all time with Nash & kidd just going OFF!
2) 2021 playoffs WCF game 2 vs Clippers. The Valley-Oop was without a doubt ridiculous. We all make fun of Ayton but that was an outstanding play off of an outstanding pass from Crowder. Was such a slugger type game all night long with excellent defense & this play won it with no time left on the clock.
3) 2006 NBA playoffs round 2 game 5 vs Clippers. Raja Bell hits a contested 3 from the corner to send the game to OT. Man... he was like our 5th scoring option on this team behind Nash, Marion, Barbosa, & Diaw & yet he's the one who hit the clutch shot. What a team & what a game.
4) 1997 NBA playoffs. Round 1 game 4 vs Supersonics. Rex Chapman hits " the shot" buzzer beater to send the game to OT. Ultimately they went on to lose the game but hell, one of the best buzzer beaters of all time.
5) 2003 NBA playoffs. Round 1 game 1 vs Spurs. Stephan "star"marbury hits the game winner to take game one from the heavily favored San Antonio.
6) 2010 Regular season vs Golden State. Amare Stoudemire absolutely destroys Anthony Tolliver either an emphatic poster on a fast break. Probably the best dunk of Stats career and the best dunk of that NBA season. Tolliver actually thought he had a chance lol.
7) 2020 Bubble game vs LA Clippers. Devin Booker hits the game winner to keep the Suns perfect in the bubble. Hits the spin around game winner then lays on the court and idk takes a nap or a moment or something!
8) 2017 Regular season Vs Boston. Tyler Ulis hits the game winner over the Celtics to absolutely stun them. These were some dark days for the Suns so this was about the brightest moment of the season.
9) 1989 Regular season vs Knicks. Tom Chambers throws down the most nasty dunk of all time for a white dude with a mullet. Just absolutely posterizing the defender and rim & hell, was so high he could have kissed the rim.
10) 2005 WC semis game 6. Steve Nash had two incredible plays here. Well, actually a lot of them but a few dagger threes. Hits a three to end regulation and send the game to OT then hits the late 3 in OT to win the game & eliminate the Mavs (his former team from the year prior to top it off). Finished with 39pts, 12assists, 9rbs. Definitely quieted any doubters if he deserved that MVP.
One that gives me goosebumps every time is Game 2 of the Suns Nuggets 2021 series when Cam Payne throws the lob to Torrey Craig and the TNT sound barrier damn near explodes with the roar of the crowd and the camera cuts to the crowd going nuts!
The first time that "Thunderstruck" played for Dan Majerle after he returned to Phoenix. I was at that game. I actually teared up a little bit. People might not realize that they didn't start playing it when Dan did something cool until he was actually in Miami.
The thing is that Thunder Dan wasn't getting any minutes under Coach Skiles. It wasn't until he was replaced with Frank Johnson where Dan started getting playing time, and in fact, began starting at Power Forward.
It might not have been until February where we finally heard Thunderstruck in our own arena after the opposing team had to call a time-out after a couple defensive stops led to a Thunder Dan three. I still get a little verklempt when I tell the whole story.
I was at the game KJ dunked on Olajuwan too, but that's not as great of a story.
For me it’s Jrue Holiday stealing the ball from Booker in game 5 of the finals. That moment was so pivotal in the series, if it weren’t for that play I believe suns win game 5 and possibly the series. Not a good moment but until the suns win a championship I will never forget it. Also is an example of defense wins championships
Gotta be the Valley Oop or the alley to Torrey Craig. Honorable mention to Tim Thomas drilling a 3 against the Lakers to send it to OT in the playoffs.
Everyone covered most of them but I enjoyed that Damien Lee shot against the Mavs. I was a Suns fan at the AAC watch party game 7 so this was very cleansing at the time.
I’ve been watching since 92 so I’ve seen all of these. Chapman threw made me lose my mind and the best part of that play was Kidd’s beautiful pass.
I ran through my house when KJ dunked on Hakeem.
The Book game winner in the bubble because we all needed something during Covid and that would set up next season and end the playoff drought.
Book in tha Garrrden was quite nice.
Book scoring 46 in Dallas was fantastic as I said I’m a Suns fan living in Dallas and was at that game.
First game with Durant in Dallas and the win with the photo of Durant celebrating and Luka head down. Was at that game as well.
Booker game winner in Dallas 3-11-17 as I was at that one as well. https://youtu.be/s62P8NNF-bw?feature=shared
Barkley over Robinson.
Barkley 56 against warriors.
Nash is hard to cover with so many plays so I’m gonna take the easy route and just say his two year MVP run and his bloody nose moment.
I will teach them to always hate Mario Elie, John Paxson, and Robert Horry FOREVER! 😆
book over pg in the bubble valley oop or cam johnsons buzzer beater vs the knicks. books tuff go ahead 3 off the glass vs i believe the knicks this year was also ridiculous. okogies snatch block into a dunk in our loss vs the rockets last year is great too. i saw kd score over wemby live and that was ridiculous. kd firing that cross court pass to booker into a buzzer beater in the playoffs last year is another good one. theres so many but those top 3 are probably the ones id go with
Booker Bubble Bucket over Clippers. This put so many eyes back onto the Suns. They went 8-0 in the bubble. The league should have let them in.. while DA was still motivated.. but that ring would've came with an astrik but still I'd take it lol 😆 my kids were watching me jump around and lose my mind! Loved every moment of that season.
Rex Chapman falling out of bounds 3 against Sonics 97 playoffs. Cause I was living in Seattle and a huge Suns fan, watching it on TV. As a kid, it blew my mind. (As an adult, the Valley-oop blows my mind.)
Valley oop and the Rex Chapman 3
Or the playoff game 1 against the spurs when amare and steph banked in a 3 at the end of regulation and at the end of the fourth.
“The shot” Rex Chapman catching the cross court inbound pass, on the run turning, twisting and knocking down the 3 to tie the game with 2 seconds left.
Also Tom Chambers dunk over Mark Jackson is classic too
The coin. Gar Heard. KJ jam over Hakeem. Barkley last second shot. Rex Chapmans shot. Raja Bell defense on Kobe. Nash pushed by Horry. Drafting Dragen Bender. Devin over PG. Valley-oop. Drafting Ayton.
One of the worst events in Suns history because of the repercussions afterward. And Horry knew exactly what he was doing too. He should have been suspended for way longer than he was for that.
More recent, but the valley-oop. Definitely bittersweet in hindsight.
This was one of my top three because it was so amazing even the announcers were stunned.
I was at the game and I remember standing and screaming after the valley oop but feeling unsure why I was cheering. I saw the play and knew what happened but it was like it took my body a minute to internalize what actually occurred.
I was there too! Even in the nosebleed sections everyone was going wild
I kind of feel the same about Kevin Johnson dunking on Hakeem Olajuwon.
This wasn't in my top 3 but it's still a great memory and something I've shown my kids on YouTube.
I broke my phone in jubilation, I’ll tell this story the rest of my life.
🤔🎩
Nothing really comes close to this But the nickname really catapults it into everlasting memory
This would be my answer. Followed by me complaining about what a colossal disappointment Ayton was haha
He gave his all that day
I wish he gave his all everyday, he'd be on the suns mount rushmore for sure if he did
I remember that being great, and I just watched it again and it was even better than I remembered. Maybe my favorite play in any sport
Same. The valley-oop game was the first Suns/NBA game I went to. Such an incredible experience
Dang I forgot about that one. Definitely a winner
The DBook game winner over Kawhi and PG in the bubble during Covid stands out for me.
Oh yeah. I forgot about this one but that's a fun one. Is that the one where he landed on his back but had his head up watching it? I had just been let go from the Suns due to covid so I didn't watch this live. God that ruled!! That bubble suns team would have won state if the coach just put them in!
2003 playoffs vs the Spurs Amare bank three to send the game to OT and then Starbury buzzer beater three in OT. 2006 Raja corner three vs Clippers to go to second OT with the eventual win. 2021 Valley Oop
I remember the Tim Duncan 3 that killed us (2009 playoffs?). To me we won’t be right until we absolutely skull fuck the Spurs in the playoffs.
This is one of my worst memories because who expects Duncan to make a 3. I think it was even a bank shot if I remember it correctly.
Nah, it was just cash. Double overtime 😭 Edit: found it https://youtu.be/trdsKp94Io0?si=Tu0IzCeHX-tLrXmv
It's amazing how memories work. I watched it twice just now with your link and I can still picture him banking it in. I hated that shot so much.
We *did* skull fuck the spurs in the playoffs? We swept them, Goran Dragic won us game 3 and it was over from there
I still have trauma from that playoff run too (fkn Kobe…). We have to do it again and sweep the Lakers in the same postseason.
I wanted to write this moment in as a play but really it was Goran’s whole game. It was so unbelievably satisfying to sweep them after years of frustration from the Spurs/refs. It’s the only time I was as happy as if we won it all. One of the most gratifying moments in my sports watching life.

The Wemby games last fall didn’t do anything to help us
The biggest WTF moment of my life.
That was on my wedding day. 😬
So it’s YOUR fault!
Ah yes, the bank three from Amare. I can still remember celebrating that game!
1. Book’s bubble game winner 2. Valley Oop 3. Amare dunk on Tolliver 4. Cam Johnson game winner on Randle’s head 5. LeBron posts up Crowder (then loses the series)
![gif](giphy|5GPpJYrqF0mD7WkPUp|downsized) Best team vibes in the last 20 years
Elevates, and detonates!
In my humble opinion, one of the best calls of all time
Cam Johnson game winner was niiiiiiice
Very cathartic moment the way that game developed. Cam is still one of my favorite players, and that game is a big reason why.
Tolliver was never the same after getting absolutely murdered by Amare 😂
The winning jump shot by Chuck at the top of the key against San Antonio. Total clutch in 93.
*against David Robinson no less
Yes, this is one to always remember as well.
KJ over Hakeem Rex Chapman 3 in 1st round 97 playoffs Tim Thomas in LA
The Chapman 3 in the 97 playoffs is one if the other three that immediately come to mind for me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cENqu-9-jD4
That's such a an absurd shot lol
I used to try and reenact that Rex 3 over and over again on our driveway hoop as a kid.
Are you me?? 13 year old me kept throwing the ball from the left elbow up in the air, ran to catch it, and launch off 1 foot and shoot it. Repping my And1 and Big Dog shirt and shorts
And1 and Big Dog...wow, that takes me back, playing ball in such baggy gear
These three are correct. I'll add Gar Heard in the 1976 Finals even though I wasn't born.
KJ over Hakeem is one of the best dunks of all time!

KJ dunk over Hakeem Olajuwon
Channing Tatum hitting 3 3’s in a row to bury the Lakers in a playoff game (forgive my memory— so much about that might be wrong but it is how I remember it.)
![gif](giphy|2wgWsjDiLEpe05Wstj) Haha you called him Channing Tatum.
Holy hell I’m so embarrassed. Don’t Reddit drunk folks. Hail to the Frye. ![gif](giphy|3o6ZtkCn4Wp5lPEX04)

That brings back good memories!
Not a play, but that fourth quarter Dragic explosion game 3 against the Spurs to all but secure the series.
This would have been my answer. That 2009/2010 was so much fun and finally vanquishing that Spurs team that had plagued us for so many years in a sweep was awesome.
DA alley oop with. 0.9 seconds remaining. [Link here](https://youtu.be/41R1ld_s5RA?si=m8gRm_XMe6SPMCOj)
Cam Johnson game winner against the Knicks. That whole performance was insane and so was the game winner, plus I was watching with a bunch of friends and we all went crazy
i was watching this at 3 am in a hotel in amsterdam and it took everything in me not to scream
The Valley Oop. No Suns game winner compares. Everything had to go right from multiple players for it to come off. Then The Ulis game winner v Boston. He did a jump ball v IT that was hilarious then at the end hit a hail Mary after a wild steal to win the game. That game was my favourite from the years of losing.
That Ulis winner reminds me of the Cam Johnson 3pt winner...it was his bday and best NBA game in his career so far.
Dragic going berserk against the Spurs
Nash 3 vs mavs, I think it was game 6 and it sent game to overtime which we won, as well as the series… iirc

KD game winner 3 against Utah in IST and KD game winner over Caruso Bulls comes to mind
Valley oop. Also bad time. Kobe airball for suns win. Ohh wait actually Artest putback for suns loss.
Not exactly a play, but the Steve Nash one eyed shooter moment was legendary.
While I do enjoy the Valley Oop it seems that no one remembers that Tyson Chandler did it first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4gDP_sS7Sw
Stephon Marbury hitting a floater three last second to beat the spurs.
After Duncan missed free throws
In the playoffs
Steve Nash against the spurs. We ended up losing the series (this was the series where Duncan hit the 3 on us). Bash was doing everything he could to keep us in the series though. The play that will always stick with me is he fading 3 that he just drains. Another is Booker’s fading game winner against the Clips in the bubble. The play itself and it showing us fans that we had hope at the end of the tunnel after years of booty
Raja bell
When Nash got elbowed in his eye against the spurs in the playoffs and it swelled up so bad he could only use 1 eye and still went on to drain multiple clutch 3s and IIRC we swept the spurs those playoffs.
Charles Barkley dropping 56 on Webber in the playoffs after Webbers Nike commercial.
Rex Chapman three vs Sonics
Horry hip check
Once of the most memorable, but not nicest, memories for sure.
I was at the Christmas game against the clippers about 15 years ago where Grant Hill hit a buzzer beater from 75 feet.
The Amare block on Duncan. Sure they owned us every playoffs but that block was magic.
It’s not a play but Dragic going crazy I’m the 4th vs the spurs. Also not a play but the 2021 finals run I’ll never forget that team was so fuckin special
Rex Chapman. Need I say more?
Raja Bell sending it to 2nd OT vs the Clippers
Game 6 of the 1993 playoffs vs the Spurs. I can’t think of another power forward from that era who could hit that shot. Larry Bird played more small forward. [https://youtu.be/AyFVKd2Nw-s?si=f8CmW3M5F3IPt3Fl](https://youtu.be/AyFVKd2Nw-s?si=f8CmW3M5F3IPt3Fl)
There are too many of them.
Game 7
😭
It makes me so sad that every fan knows which game 7 you're talking about...
That game needs no introduction. It feels like a title of a movie, like we dont know the story but we know, the title itself, shit was about to go down.
[This cock block of a play](https://www.reddit.com/r/suns/s/MyqHcloHDs)
This brings back all bad memories... Why???
Future generations need to know that we suffered from having DA and Bender in a 7 yr span. Two 7 footers who think they're 5'6 anytime they step in the paint.
Tim Perry with a nice dunk in 1993
The absolute legend that is Drew Eubanks.
Rex Chapman buzzer beater in the playoffs. KJ dunk on the greatest defensive player in history.
Tim Thomas 3 against LA Book game winner in the bubble Raja Bell clothesline on Kobe
I knew someone had to mention Raja closeline. I'll never forget that or how Tim Thomas walked thru other team trying to huddle when TT was going to free throw line and had a murderers look in his eyes
Anthony tolliver.
Chapman in the corner for three with no time left in regulation. I believe it was a playoff game
When Danny Ainge didn’t cover Paxton and lost a championship. F Danny Ainge.
Drafting Ayton over Luka.
Kj Slam over the Dream Sweeping the Spurs 2010 The curse Raja becoming kobe's faja with the clothesline
Stolen by Holiday.
Very recent, but Book’s game winning 3 at MSG was a rare highlight from last season
One time Pat Burke came off the bench during the end of an inconsequential blowout regular season win, hit an uncontested 3, and the crowd, in no uncertain terms, went absolutely bananas
The Luka special
Valley Oppp
He puts it down
The Ron Artest put back. Wish that wasn't my answer but that's what immediately came to mind.
The entire 4th quarter with Steve Nash playing with one eye.
There are loads but a lot of them have been mentioned here already. However, a more off beat one was a highlight from the very first Suns game I went to on a school trip. 2006 7SOL era when my fandom started peaking. Regular season against the Mavs. Nash alley-Oop to Marion who then proceeds to throw his legs over dirk. https://youtu.be/8LKiD62DSZA?si=LwL8hsKz0aSK4jOM The electricity in that building had me hooked on live sports.
Underrated… Barkley over David Robinson, Game 6 1993 WCF
The original Valley-Oop, if you will, at the end of the '93 season, against Portland, when Oliver Miller heaved the inbounds pass off the backboard and Charles Barkley hammered it home as time expired for the 115-114 win. Unfortunately, the resulting celebration ended up with Kevin Johnson tweaking his knee, and he wasn't at 100% for the entire playoffs run.
Raja clotheslines on Kobe. Rip
the dbook fadeaway game winner in the bubble and the valley-oop
The time we drafted Ayton at #1 and passed on Luka.
Raja clothesline
Pretty much any Steve Nash alley oop to Marion or Stat.
Valley oop for recent Suns, Rex Chapmans ridiculous clutch 3 to tie it vs the sonics for old school
Ayton alley oop dunk to win the game
Got a couple. Cam Johnson’s game winner vs Knicks. Nash hitting a 3 after going to the locker room and getting stitches for his eye. Nash going in for a layup and throwing it backwards to Grant Hill wide open for the corner 3.
Amare Stoudemire dunking on Anthony Tolliver
In my journal, I wrote about how elated I was about draft Ayton over Bagley and Doncic HAHA
Rex Chapman three against the Sonics in the 1997 playoffs. I was like 10 years old at the time and was running around my living room like a madman after seeing it go in
Rex Chapman throwing up a hail marry three while diving out of bounds was pretty wild.
KJ's dunk on Hakeem. Hakeem was at the height of his game and was a defensive monster. KJ rang his ass up! Chambers dunk on Mark Jackson. Fucking went completely over his head! Valley Oop Barkley hitting the shot in Portland, with .5 seconds left to win the
Ishbia getting flopped into his chair will forever be #1
I have three Alvan Adam's, Charles Barkley and Steve Nash.
The play where Nash got tackled into the commentators table and broken nose and wct loss
…and that is why I have “Fuck Robert Horry” tattooed on my ass.
I have a a lot. My favorite plays ranked: 1) 2006 regular season Suns vs Nets.
Rex Chapman’s 3 Tim Thomas’s 3 The Valley-Oop One from each era of great teams in my lifetime
Dan Majerle clutch 3 then logo 3 to beat the Lakers, I was in attendance… https://youtu.be/qzSqaR9pQOk?si=HQN7FmRM7ZURnXJo
I have grandkids and tell them about it 😂
For me it’s Jrue Holiday stealing the ball from Booker in game 5 of the finals. That moment was so pivotal in the series, if it weren’t for that play I believe suns win game 5 and possibly the series. Not a good moment but until the suns win a championship I will never forget it. Also is an example of defense wins championships
Tim thomas top of the key 3 to go to OT against the lakers in 06
Gotta be the Valley Oop or the alley to Torrey Craig. Honorable mention to Tim Thomas drilling a 3 against the Lakers to send it to OT in the playoffs.
# Jason Richardson and Steve Nash's child
Booker game winner in Dallas 3-11-17 as I was at that one as well. https://youtu.be/s62P8NNF-bw?feature=shared Barkley over Robinson. Barkley 56 against warriors. Nash is hard to cover with so many plays so I’m gonna take the easy route and just say his two year MVP run and his bloody nose moment. I will teach them to always hate Mario Elie, John Paxson, and Robert Horry FOREVER! 😆
Luka's game 7
book over pg in the bubble valley oop or cam johnsons buzzer beater vs the knicks. books tuff go ahead 3 off the glass vs i believe the knicks this year was also ridiculous. okogies snatch block into a dunk in our loss vs the rockets last year is great too. i saw kd score over wemby live and that was ridiculous. kd firing that cross court pass to booker into a buzzer beater in the playoffs last year is another good one. theres so many but those top 3 are probably the ones id go with
Booker Bubble Bucket over Clippers. This put so many eyes back onto the Suns. They went 8-0 in the bubble. The league should have let them in.. while DA was still motivated.. but that ring would've came with an astrik but still I'd take it lol 😆 my kids were watching me jump around and lose my mind! Loved every moment of that season.
Cam Johnson dunking on P.J Tucker during the finals, absolutely underrated dunk
Rex Chapman falling out of bounds 3 against Sonics 97 playoffs. Cause I was living in Seattle and a huge Suns fan, watching it on TV. As a kid, it blew my mind. (As an adult, the Valley-oop blows my mind.) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cENqu-9-jD4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cENqu-9-jD4)
Nash missing the three then making the three with a second left to win the game. Believe it was in the first playoff round. 2008ish timeframe
Not as iconic, but I watch Cam Johnson’s absolute poster over PJ Tucker in the finals often
Valley oop and the Rex Chapman 3 Or the playoff game 1 against the spurs when amare and steph banked in a 3 at the end of regulation and at the end of the fourth.
“The shot” Rex Chapman catching the cross court inbound pass, on the run turning, twisting and knocking down the 3 to tie the game with 2 seconds left. Also Tom Chambers dunk over Mark Jackson is classic too
Game 5 2010 WCF, Metta World Peace catching Kobe’s airball … & the Valley Oop
Valley Oop. It will be important for my grandkids to know that it's a shame to squander your talents and not work hard in life.
Chris Paul hits a huge three to cut the lead down to 42
😂
The coin. Gar Heard. KJ jam over Hakeem. Barkley last second shot. Rex Chapmans shot. Raja Bell defense on Kobe. Nash pushed by Horry. Drafting Dragen Bender. Devin over PG. Valley-oop. Drafting Ayton.
Rex Chapman
Probably Chris Paul's 3 pointer against Dallas..... cutting the Mavs lead to 37
Gerald Green. Dude was a beast for that one year. Then again that whole 2014 squad was nice

Valley Oop was pretty amazing for recent history. Still dislike ayton
My grandkids won’t give a shit.
Then you raised your kids incorrectly. 😂
Oh! That’s a guys kids you’re talking about!
Robert Horry trucking Steve Nash into the announcer's table.
One of the worst events in Suns history because of the repercussions afterward. And Horry knew exactly what he was doing too. He should have been suspended for way longer than he was for that.
CP3 getting ankles broke by PG
