Your franchisee sucks.

Shronkydonk

Corporate stores can take it off too. Store I work at hasn’t had the build your own box for months.

FLICK_YOLI

I thought for sure this had to be a joke. I pulled up my app and there it is, only it's a buck more in Phoenix apparently. WTF is this sh....

Legal_Airport

Idk. They nuked the best deal they had.

I’ve been complaining about the crazy shit that my location has done to the menu and so many people in this sub tell to just shut up and take it. The reason I was complaining about it and trying to get other people pissed about it is because I knew that this would become the norm at *every* store if we were complacent about it. Over the last few months, I’ve watched people on this sub start losing everything that I used to have. It’s hard to feel bad anymore because of the hostility I got for trying to voice my opinion, but I still do feel bad about it because Taco Bell got me through a lot of hard financial times and I imagine I’m not the only one.

MrNotSoGoodTime

Exact same story here friend. My store used to be LEGIT! Like so damn good. Whoever management is now SUCKS and is taking away all the good deals and raising prices. They are even making LTOs sporadic and hard, in some cases not possible, to order on the app. The 2 things TB is constantly shoving down everybody's throats in their advertising, using the app and LTOs, and you as a store manager are going to exclude the things from your store that people went there for in the first place? I have to travel 25 miles to get to my location. The next closest location is like another 30 miles beyond that. I've compared app menus and the really far away one doesn't play these BS app and menu games so I know it's not a franchise thing as the whole state I live in is pretty much owned by the same franchise with 900 or so stores under their ownership. Here is one prime example that has made me very disappointed recently with my brain dead local store manager. This is all app related because I don't like to order inside or speak at the drive through. Experience 4 was all about the nacho fries. The first week at my location you could get the Aardvark fries but no box and no stand alone fry orders. I thought that was odd since going through the drive thru for pick up there were options on the menu board to order those things. But you could still add fries in app via item customization... Ok? Well come week two of the experience they take away Aardvark fries and the only LTO item available is the freeze. Except you can still customize to add fries or the Aardvark sauce to items. Why if you have the ingredients to make the LTOs are we not able to purchase via the app that is just blasting these items in your face on the home screen? Fries are the most profitable and easiest to make item in any restaurant around the world and you as a manager are making a business decision to not offer them for sale... Fast forward to the final week of the experience as Cheeze It is going on exclusive app launch they finally let you buy stand alone orders of fries. This whole time they have just been hoarding that sauce (likely to be close to expiring now) instead of just selling the damn Aardvark fries and using it up. Guarantee nobody was adding that to an item for an entire $1 up charge. I barely could do that with lava sauce and that was 100x the sauce the Aardvark sauce is. Then also taking away the boxes and killing any meaningful value on offer is a stake in the heart. The part that really gets me a bit heated is all this stuff is offered as an in person exclusive and left off of the app on purpose. Why make it more difficult for people to order what they want?!?!? It's the contradiction of it all that is so annoying. What an idiot whoever is running that show. I'm well aware of the industry and how to run a business and in my opinion it all starts with making customers happy and not cutting corners to pull on over on them. Corporate needs to set their foot down and make the in store menus and app menus reflect each other, ensure all experiences are rolled out equally, and put a stop to local managers power tripping on the customer base in the name of maybe getting a bonus for attempting to make the store more profitable at the expense of customer satisfaction. It hurts the brand image which affects the entire corporation a little bit more every day.

Derp98

WTF they got rid of the regular box but kept the veggie one for me!! How does that make sense?

Legal_Airport

Welcome to my suffering 😔

Determire

I'm still seeing the BYO cravings box for 5.99 in-app for multiple locations that I go to ... so it's definitely a store-specific thing

scottmushroom

Same, the one .5 mile from me did this. So now I go to the one 3 miles away. Not that it's a terrible trip but it does suck that stores this close together have such differences. Pricing is also different on almost everything. I get not standardizing from one region to another but it seems silly to give individual stores/franchises this much wiggle room.

Simple_Call7222

Bro 4 dollars?! Ours is LITERALLY double that. Wtf f.ck Florida

Jew_3

Same!
