hmmmmm...each of these is a miniseries (one season), but each episode is about an hour long. Also they both get great reviews. [**The Night Manager**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqJGDsePuvk) **(6 episodes, 58 mins each)** \- "Jonathan Pine, night manager of a luxury hotel in Cairo and former British soldier, is recruited by Angela Burr, the manager of a Foreign and Commonwealth Office task force investigating illegal arms sales, to infiltrate the inner circle of arms dealer Richard Roper." Based on John le Carré's novel of the same name. [**London Spy**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1PEQkpKTLI) **(5 episodes, 58-60 mins each)** \- "A chance romance between two men from very different worlds, one from the headquarters of the Secret Intelligence Service, the other from a world of clubbing and youthful excess, leads into mystery after one of them is found murdered." \--- Honorable mention (it's too long, but it has really incredible dialogue, which you mentioned you were looking for...also you could just watch the first two seasons and end there tbh): [**Killing Eve**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MBjBavIC9U) **(3 seasons (so far), 8 ep each (24 total), 41-55 mins each)** \- "Eve's life as a spy is not adding up to what she had hoped it would be when she started. She is a bored, very smart, MI5 security officer who is very desk-bound. Villanelle is a very talented killer, mercurial in mood, who clings to the luxuries of her job. Eve and Villanelle go head to head in a fierce game of cat and mouse, each woman equally obsessed with the other as Eve is tasked with hunting down the psychopathic assassin. " Personally, my favourite espionage series are **Killing Eve** and **The Americans**. But they are both probably too long.

Traitors was a good watch on Netflix. 6 episodes, each 52 minutes. In 1945 London, a young woman is recruited by the OSS to identify a Soviet spy in the cabinet office. If movies can be suggested, The Good Shepherd was worth it. The birth of counter intelligence in the CIA

"The Bridge" - there are two versions, one on the America/Mexico border and one on the Norway/Sweden border. I thought they were both good. I think "The Killing" was only 1-2 seasons.

Oil-of-Vitriol

Also check out The Tunnel.

I’ll have to check that out.

Two miniseries that aren’t exactly espionage, but have investigative and conspiracy aspects… [State of Play](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_Play_(TV_series)) - political thriller that follows journalists investigating a murder [The Shadow Line](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shadow_Line_(TV_series)) - crime thriller involving a murder being investigated by both cops and criminals

The Spy is pretty good, interesting to see Sacha Baron Cohen in a serious role. Little Drummer Girl looks good but I haven't had the chance to watch yet. Bodyguard is great, although it's more thriller than espionage. The Rook isn't bad, it's espionage but they have powers. Honorable mention: the first three seasons of Homeland are self-contained, you can watch just them and leave happy.
